We've made a few updates to prepare for our migration to the Moen Smart Water Network app in the near future, including FAQs that will become accessible in the app soon to learn more.
We've also made changes to our support options, with US-based phone and email support being available 6 days a week, and the chat support feature for FloProtect subscribers being removed from the app.

Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but this did not show flo sense/manual override in the settings. However, I then joined the beta program. After giving it enough time to join, I then shut down and restarted the app. All of a sudden flo sense and manual override appeared in the settings. It may have just been coincidence. I then exited the beta program and it continued to be there. Just in case this helps someone with the same issue.

Worst setup process ever! The app name in printed instructions does not match the app you want...Pictures for setup in app did not match the product. During setup, the app goes into an endless loop between its wifi connection to your phone and your home wifi, never allowing you to proceed to the next step..... it finally connected after umpteen tries by some magic mojo...BTW this install was performed a few feet from my router, so you can't blame it on a weak signal.......

This app is nearly useless for anything but new installations. It is difficult to transfer between new primary users or to allow couples to both have full access managing the account. Additionally, if router wifi connection changes the in app help is a nonfunctional circular loop that dies not facilitate troubleshooting. Online videos are for new installation only.

I am happy with the device, but less so with the app, or at least the experience. The app has all the features I am looking for, but the real time connection is just unreliable. There is always a long latency between opening a faucet and the actual "real" time display of usage. Sometimes, it does not even show up until hours later. Nevertheless, a great peace of mind to have the device installed, since it detected various leaks over the past year.

New version will not log in. Screen flickers between login screen and the main screen many times then stops on login screen. Restarted device and it still does the same thing. Update: just got home. App does not work. Alexa does not work with it. Assuming we are past the cut off date for that. Now Flo is stuck in away mode. Had to unplug it to get water back in my house. This thing is useless unplugged. UPDATE: The newer versions have fixed my issues.

All of the events are still being listed as a shower or bath. The screen login isn't stable either. Im tired of calling as the events have NEVER labeled correctly. Security for leaks, turning off/on from phone/computer and how much water is being used is the only benefits of this device. You will not know the individual fixture usages; at least not my device.

1* due to the painful nature it took to get these on my Mesh network. Even in 2.4ghz only mode, my mesh network was "not suppoted," if I manually entered the SSID and PW, the device connected, but would not complete the setup process. To get around this, I used my cell phone and a tablet. I drove into town, set the SSID/PW on my Phone's hotspot to the same as my home network. Then I connected the tablet to my phone's hotspot, activated all three sensors, then pulled their batteries. Finally, when I got back home, I put the batteries back in, they connected to my network fine. I reached out to Moen support with no response or support attempts. The wifi chipset is the same as all of my smart plugs, so this is purely an issue with the software/firmware that Moen has created. The sensors are great, already got an alert from my hotwater heater, the overflow had a drip. If the app is updated to support modern networks, I'll revisit my review.

This post is more of a call to fix a major issue. I will change my rating when it is fixed. As of now, I cannot use the application because it is impossible to complete the sign up process. During the sign up process, after you ask for quite a lot of info might I add, your system does not send a verification email. I have been trying to sign up and I have been pressing "resend verification email" for the past 24 hours now. Either your mail system is down or something else has to be fixed.
