Great source for news & weather! I've had this app for a while including on other phones, but since I switched over to this phone about a month ago I haven't been able to receive notifications from WCVB Channel 5. I've looked at the app settings & notifications etc on my phone but I'm not seeing anything that is blocking the phone from allowing notifications & other things to come through. I like this app, as I don't have to always watch the news and you can read the news instead of watching it.

Great app, but the Widget is no longer working. It stopped working about 1 month ago. The Widget is what I refer to, most often, to view Updates on "Breaking News" (Local & National) , so it's been extremely aggravating that, it's stopped working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, both the widget & the app numerous times, but the Widget still doesn't work. Please fix ASAP and I'll change my rating to 5 stars.

I've always had good experiences but lately when I go to the app it keeps switching from my location back to Boston and I have to reset it almost every time I never had this problem in the 5 years or so that I've had this app please let me know what the problem could be

I trust channel 5 for news and weather for the Boston area. I feel WCVB is on the ball when it comes to breaking news and that is worth 6 stars!

Very informative & in the know at all times. Wether world news or local... ...including breaking news & weather (along with any breaking news alerts, with news categories that I was allowed to choose). I have peace of mind knowing all & anything that is occurring locally & world wide at all times. Excellent app & excellent news anchors... 💯☝️👍

ad's and ad's and then more ad's..... and you can not stop them or turn the sound off on them. ENOUGH WITH THE AD'S!!!!!!!!Every single story would have at least one or more ad's forced at you....no thanks!!!! I will be removing this app and not returning due to this, goodbye WCVB great way to chase off loyal consumer that has been watching your channel for over twenty years.

While watching live or On-Demand news can't remove controls like before by tapping on screen. The controls go away during commercials but reappear when watching the news. This is a recent condition maybe perhaps from a recent update of this app because this condition just started. Please advise of a fix.
