This game is terrible. In the easiest mode by the 6th battle, Poe Field, there is no way to win if you are on the Confederate side. Your artillery is so ineffective that 90% of the time when you fire no damage is done. And, one opposing unit attacked one of my units and 3 of my units died completely. How is that possible? Were the two additional units just scared to death? Difficulty is great but after two dozen attempts using all different kinds of strategies I just gave up and uninstalled.

Apart from that it crashes when you get near to winning, thus making progression impossible ... it WOULD be a nice little game and worth the large amount of space and data it eats. Sadly with the only options available being lose or crash.... it isn't. Disappointing. Uninstalled

Biggest problem is that the union and confederate missions are simply the same, and that means for the confederate side is either impossible or too easy. It's obvious the missions were designed for the union side. Limited replayability. Otherwise a good game as Hexwar always puts out.

Great gameplay. Expect to pay for more scenarios after the first four. It's good that there is a historical mode and ability to play either Confederate or Federal but the pay for more scenarios bites.

If it didn't freeze so much I would love the game design and play , I want to pay and unlock more gameplay but not if the issue continues,it's so bad I can't justify paying even 1.99

I am not sure if this is all pay or partial pay. I can only play one scenario (opening shots, Jay's mill) , but there is no option to pay for the other battles in that scenario .

It's a good game but it kinda gets boring and defeating the enemy is a odd system.

Great game it just jams and freezes. I hate I have to keep rebooting the app
