Quick and easy to use, simple but effective. Customers can request a contractor depending on their needs, or they can browse the app themselves picking the contractor they like best. There is room for a small section of photos, cover and profile photo. Being a sole proprietor of a small business, there is no time or need for a big web page. I've had great success using this app and being a part of homestars. Do great quality work, get the reviews and this app will help you thrive!

I live in an area where Homestars is not well established, Kingston, ON, and have not found this service to value added. After 4 months, only received 3 leads, hardly worth the monthly fee for that volume. I also find the "leads" very clunky and wish there was more info for them initially. Wouldn't recommend unless you are in area where HomeStars is more developed and am disappointed by their lack of local advertising for the platform, instead pushing on the "pro" to solicit reviews on the site

Bought lead driver ($199 + tax), and have leads sent to me + 2 other companies. Leads are sent to me randomly and paid for automatically. I have no choice in which leads I buy like I did with the trial option (I wouldn't buy some leads that I get sent). Another issue is %50 of the leads I receive don't read my message or answer my calls, which is a complete waste of money and they don't offer any sort of reimbursement. I'll update if issues are addressed.

It's a scamming advertiser for new contractors. I paid about $450/m for a couple of months but I didn't receive any real leads except a few fake ones. Then I had to close my banking account because they would charge every month for one year. But still they are contacting me and trying to receive money through a collection agency.

I have seen leads starting to dwindle. If things don't start to change soon, I'm going to have to seriously reconsider continuing with this app. It is costing me more money than it is bringing in, at this point. Not too impressed. Update October 17th 2024 it seems they're out of business as I can't get on to my account nobody is returning my phone calls and they have stopped charging my card. I can't say I'm surprised this happened.

Always positive. Great leads, consistent through the busy seasons. You can switch between categories based on the type of leads you wish to receive. Their easy to use platform definitely helps to establish your brand whatever the trade you may be in. Customer Service is on point, their agents are very easy to deal with and offer helpful advice if you need it. My clients are able to leave me reviews, while my new leads are able to see my past reviews and projects. Everybody's happy in the end.

good functional app. but unfortunately sometimes the notification of new leads comes very late or not at all, which really hurts the customer experience as well try to call clients immediately within minutes.

The reason we signed up for Homestars was we thought its a good investment for our company but then after almost 4 mos we didnt get any leads. Prior to the on boarding, we got a lot of leads but its not our line of work. Horrible customer service, very unprofessional and aggressive when asked about cancellation. Its a scam, they keep taking your money and no guaranteed leads. Theyre not BBB accredited neither. All department goes to same guy vm, Justin.
