Awful, the only thing that you will get off this app is "network error" messages, disfunctional, or not updated buttons, crashes, hangups, frozen screens, and waiting dialogs. Should have taken my laptop, as it is completely impossible to control, connect, or do anything with a stellarmate os with this app.

Hoping for improvements. The GUI is nicely done. Currently, I cannot get any sort of control with my Sony A7S or my Canon 450D, even though they are detected. I keep getting "Capture aborted" at preview stage. Also, despite an investment in an expensive regulated 3.5A power supply, the app is still very unstable. It disconnects often at random. So I hope this will get improved to make the Stellarmate OS worth its price.

This is a great app to control the equipment and session. While there were bugs when I started using it, the developer was very reactive in fixing those bugs, and the app is quite stable now (make sure Stellarmate OS is updated to the latest version as well!). There is great potential with the live stacking feature and support for AltAz mounts to have an app that can be used as a competitor to the eVscope and the Stellina.

Their website preaches an all singing all dancing OS. This couldn't be further from the truth. App constantly crashes. WiFi drops out even though both stellarmate and device has great WiFi signal. App fails to connect constantly even though both devices are connected to the same network. Do not rely on this to app to look after or stream line your rig. I will be seeking a refund for the OS. Unbelieveable you guys are charging £40 for this "Operating System".

So far this app and the telescope controll box have been a disappointment. The stellarmate pro says its connected to my ZWO AM5 mount (USB) but it does not move the mount in any direction or to Park position. My AM5 is running v1.3.7 firmware. The auto focus routine moves the focuser way too far for each test photo and so has failed fails to find focus about half the time. I star from the previous sessions near focus point each time. I am used to being able to set the number of EAF steps...

Common advice with this app is that it is very difficult to initially set up, but after that, it just works. Can confirm! My equipment: - 300mm f/4 newt - Ogma IMX571 camera - ToupTek IMX290 camera - ZWO EFW - OnStep mount/focuser/rotator At first, parts of my rig (e.g. rotator) didn't work with stellarmate due to bugs, but regular updates have helped tremendously! The interface makes sense and makes things easy. It's a great ASIAIR competitor if you can make it work, but it isn't perfect (yet).

Downloaded this app and set it up to connect from my phone to the mount. The connection from phone to Raspberry pi basically is slow. (press a button wait for up to a minute ). I went directly from a spare pc into the stellar mate app on the pi directly via wi fi and it worked well so I guess there are problem with the mobile phone to pi app directly. Hence only 3 stars I am afraid.

Total garbage, nasty buggy and crashes constantly.
