Essentially useless... Display update is ridiculously laggy, sometimes >10s or >100m between updates, which also means it doesn't detect when you've reached the end of a measured distance unless you keep going for another 10 or 15 seconds. Stroke counter only increments occasionally, capturing maybe 10 or 20% of strokes.

Update Oct'24: Sync to Strava again not working (with/without Wifi), Update Feb'24: recording a bit more reliable now. Hack to upload exported files to Garmin doesn't work; Dec'23: The app is buggy + unreliable. Connection via module shaky. Recording of distance regularly fails. Incredible that WaterRower, despite selling premium rowing machines, isn't able or willing to offer a reliable app. Instead of superfluous feature like videos to on how to row, get the basics right!

I cannot update to the latest version. My version is 2.26.6. The latest is 2.26.14. Also, in the 2km Challenge/4x3km plan, the app closes/crashes at about 65 minutes into the workout. This happened 3 times now.

Not reliable for syncing to Strava. often have to "post" rather than having logged activity. It constantly dropped HRM , ofen showing nothing or unreal numbers < 60bpm. Thereby skewing all zone stats.

I've never had a problem connecting with my community unit. I like the general layout of the screen while rowing. I do not have a heart monitor so I have no opinions on that part. My biggest issue is the damn app switches from English to German randomly, for no apparent reason, and I can't find a single way to switch it back. It must be behind the pay wall, but I'm not going to pay money for a setting that should be both stable and basic

The app is easy to use and looks like exactly what id want, but it is functionally unusable because of the transmission lag between the S4 and my Note 10+. Data is inaccurate and lags the real time s4 stats by roughly 20 seconds, if it updates at all. The app will not pull HR data from my Galaxy watch4 which is inexcusable given that my phone has the data. In current state the app is broken and not usable. I'd easily grant 4 or 5 stars (and likely purchase premium) if these issues were fixed

I would like the app and bluetooth if I could get them to connect to my phone. I even tried the iOS app with my ipad and still no luck. My android phone shows that it paired in the bluetooth settings but no luck with this app or with the kinomap app.My ipad wont even pair to the comm. I feel like I'm missing a step but I have read through the instructions.
