So far, I've had a hard time getting it connected!! But it's all good now, so I'll see how it works over the next couple of days! So... to be continued!! UPDATE: All is going well. But I just don't understand ( correct me if I'm wrong!), using the App can only be done,when the camera connects to the WiFi. To do that, the keys need to be in the ignition turned on! So the App is only for downloading the footage?? I can't use the Live View inside my house.. ( I'm not leaving keys in the car!!)

App won't connect unless you give it location permission. Why does it need to know my location to connect to the device 2 feet away? Edit to respond...It doesn't NEED to know my location to download videos from the device that's right next to it, it's just been programmed that way. There is no mention of the requirement when purchasing the dashcam. Hopefully others who feel the way I do will see this and avoid this brand of cams.

I find it annoying that I need to turn my mobile GPS everytime I want to connect to dashcam. I don't understand why it is required.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times. Whilst trying to connect to my dashcam (MiVue 1200 sensor XL DC) i get to tha part where I connect to the WIFI, it connects with the device ok, but then I can't get back to the app. The only window available on my phone is the settings app. If I try to open the Mivue Pro app again, it just takes me back to the WIFI setting on the phone. Using a Samsung A55G. Am I doing something wrong, or is there a setting on my phone that I shoul tweek?

Poor descriptions of functions within the app. I had no idea how to find "stop and go" until I looked up the users manual. The preview function on the recordings doesn't work (opens like a picture then doesn't play). Slow data transmission rate over wifi when downloading, cuts off your network connection, they should have used bluetooth instead. Speaking of which... they have a "bluetooth service ready" notification on my phone that doesn't seem to interact with my MiVue Stealth Dash cam.

I downloaded this app to see if there is a patch for a bug in the firmware that causes the camera to only save footage that follows an impact or keypress, instead of retaining the footage leading up to an event, (like what dashcams are supposed to do) That's how linear time works! The fact a bug like that exists in a dashcam in the first place should have been a warning! The app connected nicely but doesn't really do a lot else at all. Couldn't find firmware, which tells me that either the app is bad at finding updates, or after 2 years, nobody has actually fixed the causality direction bug. Followed the howto about it.. but seriously didn't expect much from it at all so wasn't disappointed with the outcome.

I have owned Navman products for several years and liked the original screen layout. All the information on one side of the screen made it easy to see critical speed distance etc. Are they going to give the users option to revert to this layout. Its is no better than a TomTom now. As for the app it promises a lot but under delivers. I can not set up multiple profiles. And I would like to be able to set ip a complete journey with way points. Is the planned development?

Provided no access to dashcam recordings on my navman gps dashcam that's listed as compatible. No other features were of use to me, and I cannot access the recordings by plugging the dashcam into a USB. Terrible interface, useless for the one purpose it should have. Please just make things compatible with plugging into a computer instead of this utter garbage, there's no excuse.
