This isn't my first rodeo with Ballistics apps. And I will say I really like the fact that it has an air gun mode which is about 90% of my shooting these days. But I got to tell you your preloaded pellet data is about 25 years out of date. A lot of your pellets listed there only us old farts that have been hunting with air guns since the 1970s even remember, seen or used.

Love it. My only pains are having to pay for basic mildots, one missing reticle, and that the app reticle doesn't show any hold, the pointer stays put in the center. Burris Optics has a BalPlex with just 3 dashes, and I have the same scope, it's just before the E1MV. Super simple and I know a ton of people have one. Yeah the basic Plex is fine, but please..... Not every mildot is trademarked. Just one ballistic plex freebie One free dot?

It took me a bit to figure out the controls, they're a bit retro in feel (clunky?) and the main screen feels crowded. That said, I love this app! I'm not an app developer so I don't really know, but it sure looks like a LOT of work went into this. If you do your job and get the data in the right place the output is dead-on. For the developer... I'm not sure why the reticle graphic takes up so much room on the screen? I'd also like to see terminal velocity and energy without having to switch to..

I absolutely Love this Ballistic Calculator! I have been around scopes and ammo for over 40 years and this is the best tool I have ever seen. It really does everything, 1) Elevation tables with windage, vel. & energy. 2) created colorful graphics for the same data. I admit there is a little hassle figuring out how to create a profile, but once done it is easy. I am very happy with my Shootist Tool, I think you will be also. Fyi: I couldn't figure out how to buy my scope Reticle online.

This is THE program to use if you need to know exactly where to place a hash mark to precisely engage a target with a Vortex dead hold reticle. A small colored cross appears on your chosen reticle exactly where it needs to be in order to impact a target at any desired range. The program will also indicate how many clicks one needs to turn a turret on a first focal plane scope to accomplish the same mission. It is full of interactive features that actually perform useful functions. Grade: A+

This is by far the best app I have found for scope ballistics. Once set up all the info you might need is on one page and easy to edit for changing range etc. It has an encyclopaedic selection of reticles from a wide range of scope oems which is an absolute boon. Queries to the developer were answered the same day. Impressive. So I bought the pro version. Get it.

After searching all the ballistic calculation apps this is the best one I've found for my air rifle shooting. Only reason it isn't 5 star is that my retical is not in the options, although generic mill dot is close enough to use. I'm sure more will be added in future, there are already lots available.
