As a streamer, I have to accommodate many different types of guests that join my streaming session. Not everyone’s tech-savvy, plus with covid and everything else, many people's tech is out of date. This app is especially useful for people with older computers or none at all. Quest Portal is constantly updating their app, increasing their phone support and keeping people aware of their roadmap for the future. They clearly have a strong focus on ease of use and do an excellent job of that.

Tinkered with the app. It has a good variety of games that it can support to at least a basic degree. GM side, it could probably help to make it work with different image files for uploading maps to quickly reference or general information from text files. Allowing the app to access the local file might work. Universal, the app could probably benefit from built-in tutorials on how certain functions work. Might recommend contacting hexographer for testing map support. Hope this helps.

This is an awesome app to use for dungeon masters. The AI tool is incredible to use and you can tell it was made for the intent of using for tabletop gaming. It really helps helps when your players do something unexpected. There are a few things that I wish that it did. I wish that it was more geared toward World Building because what Ive primarily use it for. The 8$ a month is totally worth the investment but I would be willing to pay a lot more if the app was more geared toward world building.

I've tried a few VTTs and this one is a stand out. Super easy to set up and the UI looks awesome, and intuitive. My first time players had no trouble navigating and modifying character sheets and map tools.

Good start to an app! Obviously needs a few features such as built in character sheets and access to the ai art and scene creation (while using the app). The ai was very similar to chat gpt (it occasionally forgets past prompts) which is to be expected. After they add a few features and fix a couple aspect ratio glitches I'll most likely return with a paid subscription. The ability to play on the phone with friends (pretty seamlessly) was great!

I love this app. With the addition of the campaign notes feature (that was quick, here's your beer back), this app became my number 1 worldbuilding tool. The AI assistant has helped me get some ideas down on paper and flesh them out. Its like having a copy of myself to bounce ideas of off. It doesn't do the work for you or take away the fun. It is, for me, the perfect helper. Its given me the aid I needed to reclaim a beloved hobby that was shelved with the arrival of young kids. Thank you!

As a GM, the app is really helpful and intuitive. They also support animated maps, which is a game changer for me. The mobile version is good, too, for my players who don't have a laptop or desktop wish they allowed you to port over dnd beyond character sheets through. But worth it for all the other features simple and easy to use

Not been using this for long, but so far it seems excellent, especially for Call of Cthulhu based games. The streamlined, simple nature is it's biggest advantage. Too many of these programs make virtual setups feel more like playing a video game. I'm holding off on five stars until we've used it more and... Devs... 🙏 There is an option added for having sound on dice rolls 🙏
