unfortunately, with our modern technology and when we can get up to date news checking a local paper is a little twee. I get that there can't be an update constantly and it finds it difficult to find content but the more non local news items included point towards the banality of some of the news. recently there was an article about Clarkson which remained for 2 weeks, how monotonous.

doesn't update properly or in decent time I can see same story's from Gloucestershire live on 3rd party apps well before they appear on Gloucestershire live itself some days doesn't update for 10-15h so better off checking others first.

Boring! Very little serious news content. If you take out the traffic reports and the USAF activities at Fairford, there's not much left.

At least it's an improvement from before. Has gone from 3 to 4 stars IMHO. Opens halfway down the page instead of at the top, but has now added an option to read new articles. Months old articles appear as though they are current - an 'older stories' section would rectify this. Still posts stories from other areas which are of no interest.

The odd decent story but mostly total garbage written by people who have very little grasp of English grammar. Cut & paste used excessively and not spell checked. One paragraph stories are elongated to the point of obserbity but as the business model is more concerned with advertising than news, local or otherwise, this make perfect sense.

Update 27/10/20: Thanks for reinstating the comments, but they seem to take a long time to load - I timed thirty seconds from pressing the button 'til the comments appearing, with the spinny circle thing going round & round (& I was on decent wifi.). Losing patience to read some comments. Shame.

You have to search for local news, I have to search for Gloucester news quite often.
