If I could give this app 0 stars I would. We got an Econet thermostat when we had our new furnace and AC installed. The first one wouldn't connect to WiFi, so after 2 weeks we had to get a replacement. That one stayed connected for 19 days before disconnecting, and that's the longest we've kept it connected. Absolutely horrendous app and device. Unfortunately we're stuck with it because apparently it's the only device compatible with our RUUD system.

these guys should have never tried to do a proprietary system. so many better options but I am stuck with this junk

apparently, the system will turn itself back on when I shut it off? f-you stop messing with my stuff remotely.

The app is a bit basic and has some quirks but it's nice to be able to see energy usage, overall health of the hybrid water heater as well as have access to scheduling and different heating modes. As far as minor complaints, I don't like that the capacity of the heater only shows as empty, 1/3, 2/3 or full. It would be nice to have a more accurate measure of how much is in the tank and ready. The other complaint is that the main screen doesn't refresh automatically (go back, head in again)

0 out of 5 App is completely borked. It has become completely useless after the last update. Original review: This app is functional at times. That is when it actually opens. You need to force close the app, clear cache, and relaunch just to adjust the temperature most of the time. There is no web interface to the thermostat and some features are only available in the app, so you are stuck using this barely functional app. You can use the non-branded econet app, but it still has the same issues.

This app SUCKS ..... pure and simple! It doesn't work .... PERIOD Horrible, will NOT control the thermostat from the phone, have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. If I knew how bad this system is when I purchased, I would never have made the purchase. The new updates need some major help, it constantly crashes and I've had to "add" my thermostat twice .... so far, not very Happy .... strongly considering replacing with something else and more reliable

Today I attempted changing the scheduling of my water heater. I am now no longer able to access the scheduling function from the app. The version installed is 6.11-1217-93ce42c which may be the same version that was recently updated on 1/4/24. The app no longer works for me to adjust the schedule or change any settings. Up until 1/21/24, this app worked perfectly. Reaching out to support resolved my issue. I should have rebooted my phone and logged back in. Resolved
