The app works as you would expect for my simple nfc tags. I do think the ux once you launch the app applied some dark patterns. It's not as clear as it can be that you can avoid starting a free trial. When you look at the pricing model, it's insane. $5/week ($20/month on average) or $25 for life. Not sure who the premium membership is for as most only need to read and write nfc tags once in a while that hardly justify such a steep membership cost.

The app is so poorly built you can hardly navigate it. I got 10 seconds of a little animation playing before it stopped responding to all taps and input.

too many ads, but the app works perfectly. i managed to write wifi emoji on my nfc tag. other apps i tried after writing and when scanned showed ???? not emoji image after scanned.

Likely scam. You open the app, get hit up to subscribe, asked to review, a full screen ad, and then finally the app which didn't work. I have to assume the 5 stars are bots

Tried to scan a card just keeps getting an error. I have other readers that read this just fine. Must be this app.

Can't do anything without Pro. Every tag I scan says it can't be read or is incompatible and suggests I upgrade to pro.

Bad. Ask to rate app first without letting people look at the interface. Forcing people to start free trial then charge on weekly basis. Not quite the app you will expect.
