EDIT: App updated itself and still seems to connect now...! Changed to 5* Was really happy with the previous version of this app and was the only way I could keep my channel list favourites working (another can of worms) New version (from 3.xx onwards) doesn't pair TVs not in the same subnet. May not apply to many people but I like having certain devices locked down from my main network. Have had to 'roll back' to a previous version (2.2.42), which is the last release before the major changes

Never connects to the TV, I have the app amd the TV paired, the TV can be on but the app never seems to be able to connect, always get the message that the TV is either off or on standby when it clearly isn't, I have nothing but trouble with this app, phillips needs to sort this out as its unusable in this state, simply put don't bother with this app, not until phillips has fixed it

App was redesigned and is now terrible. Clearly no user research done, extra steps added, weird features pushed over the more useful ones, inefficient, clunky design. Very poor. It's now easier to go find the physical remote than it is to use the app. Id give zero stars if I could.

After years. They finally got this app working. Then about a month ago they killed it. Clunky menus, having to click menu after menu just to get into the remote. Now after a week it just has a loading arrow when I choose my TV. You need to revert back to the old version devs, cos this ain't it.

Good app for if you lose your tv remote but wanna watch football and just can't find your tv remote anywhere. I would recommends this app to anyone who loses there tv remote alot. If you also lose your phone aswell though then you have no tv remotes at all so don't lose your phone. Otherwise great app with no bugs. And all these bugs that everyone was complaining about have been fixed now by the way. So I would recommend this app to most people, philips is the best, Love you philips.philips #1

Dark mode has disappeared with the new update. Why must I be blinded with a white screen when I'm trying to change the volume during movie night? Background used to be navy blue which was much more user friendly. New update seems a backwards step in terms of user experience.

This app is really good, but for some reason I can't control my ambilight. This app also works on the different signal types of your Wi-Fi, my TV is on 2.4G and my phone is on 5G but they can still communicate.

My remote voice search is not working. I did not get any support from Philips app customer care infact when I entered my TV model it is not even showing. Absolutely useless, their customer support worst experience.
