Love being able to keep my standards without the worldly influence. Works perfectly on my roku! But that's where the 5 star's end. I can't watch on my phone! I've tried logging on and off, restarting my phone, uninstalling the app, forced stopped and all of these things several times and in various combinations... But the picture still stays squished and unwatchable!

Do not purchase unless you are paying top dollar. Normal streaming services was not allowed. Did a trial run and I wasted my effort in using something that doesn't work. Movies could not be verified, I was told I had to pay more for link streaming platforms just to use this app, requested payment for free prime shows on my normal platform, and only a select few of movies are even worth watching. The builder of this platform needs to be marketing better to these streaming platforms. Not good.

Let's talk about the app glitching. When casting a show, it disconnects every 10 minutes. It stops recognizing any casting device, even when I close the app and re-open. The casting button is grayed out and can not be clicked, even to disconnect. I found that casting YouTube will allow the cast button to turn back on, but it still doesn't want to find any devices. This is SUPER annoying. I love the idea of Vidangel, but will likely leave until these things are fixed. Not currently worth the sub

Love it when it works, but pray that you never have to pause while watching a filtered film because 30-60 minutes later, the app will crash and even after EVERYTHING is restarted, it still won't work. It won't even recognize ANY casting devices on the network. So frustrating. I'm running the updated version that supposedly fixed crashes, but it still is unrecoverable.

App is Super glitchy. Everytime we want to cast something the cast button is greyed out. The only fix is the clear app cache and re-login. After we finish our show we are going to cancel because it's too many hoops to jump through to make it work. Tried on multiple phones, and tried casting to multiple TV's and Chromecast/Nvidia Shield, all with the same exact issue.

Too bad can't stay connected. I contacted tech support, and they say they do not have any control over the streaming service you use and their ability to keep you logged in or not. I select "keep me logged in" to no avail. I still have to log in many times. Out of curiosity, after I could not automatically log in to vidangel, I went to my streaming provider, and as expected, I am already logged in without having to enter my username and password. At this price vidangel should be just as easy.

Great app to let you watch videos with whatever detailed filters you want. Whether you are more conservative than BJU, or just want to remove the worst of the language. Also has some good original content, though still quite limited for now. Be aware thus is primarily a filtering service. You will still need a netflix or amazon prime subscription, or will need to buy/rent the movies themselves on amazon.

Updated....App had several issue. Had. Now the app has been working for several weeks without issue, so I felt I needed to add an update. All the features have been working flawless. Starting movies, connecting through Roku, even purchasing rentals from Amazon. Only thing you must remember, the IP of the Roku must be similar to your router. I know they were re-adding the app to Roku, so I would recommend this to everyone.
