App took a while to work today. Tried buying esim yesterday and it failed to create the order, but did refund me quickly. Earlier today I could not browse for esims at all. "Something went wrong, please try again in a moment.". A bit later on I have now managed to buy an esim for the USA at a competitive rate to use in a few days time. Just hope it works well, will update the rating again if it does. Not installed it yet, will wait until I am on US soil.

The plans are good but the app requires a lot of improvement. The dashboard shows only the last plan details and its top-up option even if there are multiple active plans. The wallet where all plans appear doesn't have top up option. The expired plans do not promptly remove from the wallet and some plans status is incorrect in the wallet. The purchase history doesn't show all the purchased plans. Sometimes the wallet takes quite long to load plans. App support at times don't respond whole day.

Awful awful awful. I have had a one in 3 success in Setting up a plan here. Failed in South Africa before Xmas and failed today in the us. Worked once last year in the us. their customer service in the app does not work. Avoid

Worked for me in italy. Would be great if there was a work around for adding sim to phone without needing to scan a QR code. Currently you can receive the email with the QR code to your phone but if you don't have a second/friends device with you then you cannot activate. Could also make it clearer that it's data SIMs only. Still would use again despite these comments.

After I paid the app stucked with the message "something went wrong, try again". I waited 3 days, the error doesn't give the possibility to contact the support from the app and no one replied from Twitter.. still waiting a refund, very bad experience, losing of time and money

Used ZIM on my trip to Bali. Impressive connectivity, affordable plans, and easy to use. Great for avoiding roaming fees and staying connected while traveling. Highly recommend!
