Great concept...bad execution. This app could be great but has a number of major issues. The camera ID feature is just terrible and typically misidentifies coins without even getting close. That would be okay if the basic search function worked and actually found what you were looking for but it doesn't. I tried numerous old as well as brand new coins and could barely find half of them through either search option. With no clear way to even get support, this was a quick reinstall.

Pros: Very good database of world coins, and the ability to document and curate your collection. Cons: The user interface is a bit unintuitive, and the pro features, while useful, are too expensive and can be found on the web for free or at a much lower cost. Conclusion: While I really like the database, and the features for curating your collection, the app is not useful enough to me to switch from the web based collection tracker I currently use.

Wanted a resource to keep track of my growing collection and just trying to put in what I have so far is worse than pulling teeth. Trying to navigate the app to find regular coins you'd find in circulation like the US quarters and all I was getting were a bunch of those obnoxious minted coins most people have never heard of and the only reason they exist is for people on those shopping network channels. Beginner collectors don't want to be bombarded with overly expensive sales posts.

This app could be a lot better than it is, the scanning system of your coins comes up with completely different coins you have photographed. I would love to be able to have my own coins photographed to put in my library instead of the standard photo given. It is very difficult to search other members coin collections. The vast dictionary of coins is its main positive.

So far I love the app - very clean, easy to use and slick. However, the app is very slow. When I search it brings up 5 pages for the same coin, and it seems like pure luck which of the 5 happen to ever load. I like that you can add your own coins since the database doesn't have everything. The U.S. coins seems to be a bit messy, but I haven't spent too much time yet adding those from my collection.

Great tool for keeping track of coin collection. Still have a bug while adding coins to collections: when you have multiple collections, the first one in the list could not be used. I would like to have a easy way to move coins around the collections (like tagging them by category)

The app still needs some development. Not all coins I have could be found in the app database. Also, I was unable to add coins that weren't in the app database since the app generated error and closed. At this stage, I certainly wouldn't pay for any additional features in the app, although most of the existing features are quite interesting
