I love the national parks, but this app has been nothing but frustrating. I just went to 4 parks. I downloaded all 4 ahead of time. But when I was in the area, all I could get is blanks with spinning circles. And that was while on WiFi. So basically useless. I would submit screen shots off Google Play was any better.

Lots of info, reasonably usable, EXCEPT of offline. Downloaded parks refuse to load when there is no cell service. I try turning off WiFi, putting the phone in airplane mode, and only the park picture (cached?) loads, the other sections never load. This has happened to me MANY times over various trips this past year. I think I did manage to retrieve downloaded parks offline once or twice, but even then it froze eventually . Pixel 7, Android 14, 1.16.0 - build 70

This app seems to be faulty. I tried to download offline maps for the Redwood parks for a self guided tour. It hangs at 46%. After about 1/2 hr, I got to 50% the first time I tried. The app was frozen upon reopening. I had the same issue after a phone restart and an app reinstall. Might be nice if it worked. I have no idea if it is useful otherwise.

The app is super useful for planning a trip to a national park. I knocked one star off because there is no way to backup data and transfer to a new device, so you have to restart your visited list when upgrading devices. There is also the occasional glitch with the download park feature.

This is one of the best apps I have. From planning trips to getting updated information on the parks, it has the information you need in order to fully enjoy our National Parks. There is so much well organized information. The self guided tours are an excellent part of the park guides. There is a 'Download for future use' feature that is very helpful since many of the parks do not have good cell coverage.

Extremely slow. Can't download maps for offline use on Android, the app just says there is no Internet and gets stuck at downloading at 46%. Have been trying for 3 days, cleared cache and storage for the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. App is pretty useless if you can't download maps for use in parks with no cell service. I gave it two stars because I'm sure some of the features would be good if the app wasn't so slow and buggy. Maybe if they fix the app I'll try it again.

Pretty good app giving a variety of information about the parks and allowing for offline download. Information, however, is inconsistently organized from park to park which caused confusion (e.g., for Sequoia/Kings Canyon, hiking info was consolidated under "Things To Do" -> "Hiking," however for Yosemite only two trails were listed there. The remainder were instead under "What To See" in different areas.)

Every time I switch to a new phone I lose all of my lists, saved parks, and favorites. This app very badly needs the ability to sign-in to multidevice sign in with backup, sync, and restore to/from Google drive (or equivalent). The "finding a park" / search has been greatly improved.
