mixed... the app layout and a lot of the controls are really powerful and reliable. but there are glaring issues: bizarre interface to set what circuits are "must have", no way to force a circuit back on if automatically turned off, not enough control over at what battery level each circuit turns off, loses communication with powerwall and must be rebooted to regain connection...

This app is garbage. More than half of the time, the data fails to load and on the occasions when it does load, it takes more than 30 seconds. My Apple devices are a little slow in loading but they load reliably and other apps that have access to the data directly from the panel have no problem. It's just the Android version of the app. I hope I have my Apple devices near if my power actually goes out.

A good beginner's attempt. The Span smart panel itself lacks a browser interface; the phone app does not use space efficiently. If you have more than a few circuits you won't be able to see much usage at once. No custom devices. Edit erases existing entry. The individual circuits are all two lines, even if most fit on one line. A browser interface is an absolute necessity, a big oversight. App is slow to load. Also missing, tell app when device is on/off, and app to record difference.

The Span panel is a great feature, but the app has several bugs that need to be addressed. It crashes frequently and has issues with functions like emergency reconnect, which opens a non-loading link and does not perform the intended action. Additionally, the app has difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi, even when a router is nearby.

As reported. Fails to load on Android (14). Stops working after a few uses and only shows SPAN splash screen. Stuck on splash screen and unable to reset. Clearing storage and cache has zero effect. Unable to restore function via uninstall and reinstall. Really a shame for a product that is so capable otherwise. They appear to have forgotten about Android users, but Apple app works fine.

They need to enable local control and stop forcing app updates. There are some good features of this app but it's buggy and slow. They promised local control over a year ago but no updates since. It often forces an app update right when I try to use it. This is unacceptable for an app that would often be used in an emergency power outage. What if I had no Internet as well? Please get it together span. There is a lot of potential here but you're blowing it.

Overall, a thoughtful design layout with useful at a glance info. Some room for improvement, especially with ability to customize/control the layout. But in general is very useful!

It would be perfect if users could directly enter a specific date instead of PAINSTAKINGLY pressing the back arrow 1 day at a time. It's painstaking if the user wants to go further back.
