The app (Android) worked perfectly until the early October '18 update. Despite an uninstall/re-install, when the app is opened it says 'You are offline - please connect to the internet to access the app' (my phone is permanently online by default) so there is clearly something wrong with the app itself. The my Nib portal accessed via Microsoft Edge on a laptop works fine. It's just the App which is screwed up and now useless.

Nov 2023 rebuild of the app is such a downgrade. They turned a native app into a WebView which works pretty bad. The UI looks nicer, but the UX is terrible: everything requires several more steps, and asks me to re-enter data over and over again. The previous app worked fine, why changing it? Ever heard of "if it's not broken, don't fix it"?

After the latest update there is no way to add photos to a claim from your phones storage as the app crashes every time ... the in app camera would be your first option but it has never worked for the dumbest reason it can take photos it just can't focus no auto focus and no manual focus. the only way for me to make a claim is to use there website the app is completely useless! (Update) I've updated the app and its still Completely Uselesss! I think ill be geting a new insurance provider if this lasts much longer.

Easy to use when it works, problem is it barely ever works. Doesn't reset after claims so un installed and re installed app and now it won't let me log in even after several password changes. Imagine how many people get frustrated and then forget about their claim

This recent November 2023 update is a mere internet shortcut. The new features are just more hoops users have to navigate through to get one simple thing done. The original app was not broken, so why fix it? NiB just spent thousands for a shortcut to your phone's internet browser app. Bring back the old app!

app is ok. I have had trouble where I have started a claim then need to adjust something and app has frozen n and won't let me delete or submit the changed claim. would also like to be able to see all claims for the year so I can work out how much I have left on each premium

This app keeps on giving the error that they have trouble creating the account. The customer care doesn't turn up after waiting for 25+ mins. And they say there is a promotion whereon we can start using the insurance once we have signed up. But it's a long wait. #badExperience

Scam level. Quite possibly the most frustrating app experience considering we are paying for this insurance service. I feel this new app experience has been designed into update, to produce such an extraordinary unfriendly user experience that people just cant be bothered to claim (Its a win for NIB in this case). Seriously NIB, bring back the old app, or make this one user friendly and reliable.
