The radar display is very nice. It seems to reload the map every time instead of keeping a local copy. Wonder why it doesn't use a slider for the time and why you can't set the parameters for the display? Also every time I move or pinch zoom I end up dropping pins. I still haven't figured out how to get rid of them.

This update removes the details of current weather conditions (high/low chance of rain/snow/precipitation or inclement weather) and breaks hazards. Special weather statement is also non-functioning. Otherwise, functions as intended. Sent screen recording of issue. After dev saw the issue, developer states the issue is with NOAA (even though the issue wasn't present before the update). Hopefully NOAA fixes the issue, and brings back detailed data for us, since some of us rely on it.

I'm not having that issue anymore except the no data available message on the bottom for the screen when trying to tap to read the alert also The reason why I was having issues with the app crashing was because I was running developer mode on my Pixel 8 Pro and it cussed the app to crash a lot. The app is great 👍 😃 to use and is my favorite one to use out of the others on the Google play store.

This is the best forecast app I have found. I work outside and need it daily. More accurate than AccuWeather, weatherbug, TheWeatherChannel. One thing I have to add is it seems to be "temporarily unavailable" more often then I would like. Maybe it's coincidence and I am using the app during app maintenance or something I don't know. Today (2/15/24) it has been unavailable for 3 hours. This happens at locations all over Illinois. Currently the hourly feature doesn't work.

It's been three years since I left my original review, and I still love it! ORIGINAL: I have purchased and used at length the majority of the top weather apps out here, and this is currently my go-to. No nonsense with a truly useful and intuitive presentation of current and future conditions, including FULL text discussions of warnings and outlook, which many others lack.

Update: now that I've been looking at it again, navigating the app makes more sense. I had issues viewing tide charts, and after mentioning it in my review, the developer said they would look into it. I tried it again a short while later and it worked. It seems to be about the only app that gives any indication of the current tide level, which is what I was looking for. Others just give time and level for high and low tide.

The app is great, but there are still some inconsistenties like accuracy and also alerts are delayed by almost 6-10 minutes. I have a NOAA Weather Radio and sometimes the Radio will go off BEFORE THE ALERT ON MY PHONE! Also inaccurate forcasting and keeps pinging Monroe (Wisconsin) Municipal Airport about 20 miles away instead of Brodhead itself. And maximum accuracy by location AT ALL TIMES instead of foreground.

10/29/23 - after last update the 4x2 widget will not update, keeps failing? I have uninstalled, restarted phone & rem-installed, but still failing? Please fix! ********************************( I have tried them all and this is by far the simplest while still providing all weather data info one would need. Purchased version contains no ads which makes it even better and I would highly recommend! **Update** Still the best weather app out there!
