Having nothing but trouble. All I wanted was to use a recipe from a website that I couldn't find directly on my Google Home Hub... Initially setup was easy once I got the hang of it, but I'm now trying to use the recipe, and the functionality between the app and the Hub is woeful - believe it or not, sometimes you actually need more than 10 seconds to do a step!! This is the amount of time I get without responding before it just disconnects and I have to start all over again. Really frustrating

Responded to my previous review and then deleted it. Devs should not be able to delete negative reviews. My issue was with the scanning ability, and the dev's response asked for an example of with it struggled. The app struggled with fractions. The bigger issue was with the ability to interpret the text as a recipe correctly. Specifically in this case, the printed list of ingredients was in 2 columns in the recipe, and the app jumbled ingredients together in an incoherent mess.

This is a pretty awesome app. Literally the only reason I bought the nest hub was for cooking. It's in my kitchen. My daughter and i love to cook and bake. We have a million recipes on Pinterest and some family recipes in an old beat up cookbook. After purchasing the hub i realized it didn't have a browser. No way to access my Pinterest recipes. Or add my own. This program is perfect! I can add recipes using the website feature and voila, connected. Thank you so much! I wish I could donate!

Seems like a great app that I can use to enter my own recipes and have my Google home hub read them to me whilst cooking. The biggest issue, one which I am hoping will be fixed is that Google home hub closes the Sous Chef app after about 15 seconds of inactivity. So every time I want to go to the next step I have to ask Google to reopen the app. It would be great if the app was able to stay open until you tell it you are finished, or would at least reopen on the same instruction it was last on.

Trash app. Good luck trying to make this app save a recipe from a pinterest website. So many broken things even for the recipes you do manage to save. It does not work well with google home devices and unless you tell it word for word the title of the recipe you want want pull up, it will just tell you your first recipe on the list. It's not intuitive in the least and it's functionality is really limited. Too bad, good idea, bad programming. Reply: buy a new device for sous chef? Lmao...no

This is a wonderul app! I love how I can import recipes from websites, and even more importantly - Create and store my own recipes and have Alexa read them while I cook. The only question/concern is that I can't share recipes with someone without using the QR code and having my friend with me in person... Is there a way to send recipes through email or something and have the other person still be able to import them straight into the app? Thanks again for such a cool app!

If you have a smart display like Google Home Hub you know you can ask google assistant for recipes. If you are a home cook you probably have a book of recipes. Now you can add them to this app in many different ways and use your smart display to search your own recipes and display and read ingredients and instructions to you. This developer is very open to suggestions and answers your questions quickly. Find a recipe on the web, add it. Have one you made, type it in. You can even use your phone to capture one in print. This is the best companion linked to a smart display or as a stand alone app. Changes made in December to app.

Needs a lot of work. Some website don't work. Can't add new category, ui is rubbish,... Look at paprika, that's where you need to get to. Good to implement it on Assistant though.
