The app is garbage now. Older app version was more up to date on road conditions, highway cameras etc. Now, it's never accurate, and for it to refresh and be current a person has to uninstall and install the app again. It's Dec 15th and the app showed highway closure due to flooding.. on a section of highway that was no where near a river, plus it is December. Almost totally unreliable.

This new version is trash. They made "improvements" that actually provide less information than they used to. The old version had more information about highway conditions. It also told you when the conditions for that highway were last updated. With this new version, there's no way to know if the highway is clear but icy (only snow coverage provided) or when the last time the highway was actually checked. Update: Just installed it again (Oct 2023). It's still awful. They haven't fixed it.

I've had a chance to sit with the app and desktop versions and have taken the time to program and save routes and set up notifications, but the routes created and saved on desktop do not seem to carry over to mobile when logged into the same account on both. The app is much harder to read at a glance and some of the text is black on a grey background (in road condition detail spec.) which is impossible to read. Overall features look promising but UI/UX are broken to the point of useless atm.

Since the app was updated a couple of years ago the road information map is unusable and generally looks like a big black spider eating Manitoba. If you need to see current road conditions on an easy to read map, download the WeatherLogics app Now my phone keeps complaining the app crashes frequently and asks me to disable it.

This new update is horrible. Does not give you the info the old app used to. Highway information is useless now. Cannot click on the actual highway to see when it was last updated. When you enter your destination for a trip it asks if you want to avoid tolls. In Manitoba? Please change it back. This one is wretched.

Don't try to fix what ain't broken if you don't know what you're doing. But that's exactly what happened to this app with the latest update. Road conditions are severely out of date and roads cameras are unavailable most of the time which was one of the most reliable features I used on this app but not anymore. And they expect us to make an account for this? Absolute garbage.

It'll update... Hours or days afterwards. Says roads are open when they're actually closed, and roads are closed when they're actually opened. The cameras are horribly placed (when they're working) and 9/10 are blocked almost immediately after the weather begins (assuming they worked in the first place).

This app is helpful, but only to a point. The further away from Winnipeg you go, the less often the information is updated. For example, the last time the highway near my location (1 hour north of Winnipeg) was updated was almost 9 hours ago. Otherwise it is a great app.
