I created an account, complete with photo, bio, and interests. While pressing the last button to complete my profile and begin using Alovoa, the app flashed an error message, shut itself off, and now anytime I try to do almost anything in the app, the app crashes. I can't change any settings, adjust my profile, see any profiles, much less delete my account.

this should be a great app. everything about it is basically perfect. no ads, clean interface. the issue is you cannot change what you're looking for (long-term, short-term etc) once you've selected it, and the options for account deletion and logout are effectively hidden unless you know exactly where to scroll in a certain section. please fix this, as this app is otherwise better than all other dating apps I've come across. if this is fixed, I believe I would rate this app 5 stars.

I'm interested in seeing where this goes, as the current dating app market is aimed towards profit, rather than facilitating matches. I'm having a "no GPS signal found" alert, but I'm happy to keep this on my phone and see what happens with it.

Don't download this. Buggy and doesn't display correct. Top bar with settings doesn't show (except for one time), and is just blank most of the time. Stuck looking at profiles from across the globe cause it's not getting location data even though permitted. Oddly, the program accessed my phone's photos without data permissions granted. Don't trust it after that. Website won't allow me to delete info, tried multiple browsers/computers. Just gives an error.

Did not request the access to photos and videos permission... That's bad... Also keeps trying to force you to switch from the coarse to fine location permission. Just why?? Many fake profiles and few users in my region. The dislike button causes the card deck to restart. Not having a report feature for profiles is a terrible idea at scale...which is why encryption won't work. I get why you use Expo but building the clients natively would lead to be a much better UX.

Good concept. Problem is nobody knows the app exists and similar to Tinder, Bumble the app has plenty of fake accounts and A.I. photos.

Registr btn hidden. "Next" arrow in profile setup crashes app if user uses it instead of "Let's go" button. Primary and secondary colours don't affect anything. Material You colouration doesn't use system preference. States GPS signal unavailable. Referral code button label empty. Cannot set drugs to none – only unset. No separate fields for org and job. No Gravatar/Libravatar suprt.

It works well. I am able to see the photos others have uploaded and chat with people without paying anything. The only bad thing is that there aren't enough local users. That's partially because they don't advertise. Use it and encouraging others to use it. The more users, the better it will get.
