This is a great informative app! It has the current KP index and probability of seeing the aurora in percentages and has an interactive map and graphs along with photos others have taken and you can choose any city to see the info for that place in real time as well. It will tell you if anyone in your area has seen the aurora and you can also tell the app if you've seen it to help others. I use this app in conjunction with a few other apps to help me accurately predict the aurora forecast.

I like the idea of this app, I just wish there was a way with which to configure the threshold for notification. I live in a fairly low latitude, high light pollution, area. As a result, only G3, or higher, level storms are applicable to me, but I see no way to alter the threshold. So, instead of getting excited when I see a notification from this app, it ends up training me to ignore them, since the vast majority are G1 and G2.

Does the job nicely. Awesome app with great interface and data. Just One issue : If you add one city for monitoring, you can't edit/delete or change the city. Such issues are easily caught by basis testing but it is unnoticed

Inaccurate data, app would constantly rate a place with high KP just a few hours later to give you false hope, but it was never realistic - other reputable sources (NOAA, NASA, space weather, etc) would have low KP scores consistently.

Just used this app for my visit to Tromso. I used this in conjunction with some other apps and I really liked the way the Aurora forecast shows the possibility / liklihood of an Aurora on the day and coming days. The realtime checkins are also a great heads up feature as when people start spotting the Aurora that are near you this is really helpful and along with the other apps I used this helped us to see an amazing Aurora display 👍 I posted a few of my own checkins and this was quick and easy

To developer: I don't need to add a new city, I was just adding a check in from last night's aurora in my area, but it put the current city I'm in, which is somewhat close, just ~40mins away. ETA: immediately after I wrote my last review, the app refreshed and finally took me to the search screen. Now my issue is that I can't seem to find a way to edit my check in. I did a manual location, but it still put my current city, which seems counterintuitive.

The app notified me and I actually caught a glimpse of the northern lights! It would be nice if I could add photos from the photo page. Navigating back to my town to check in was not so intuitive.

Not sure if this app is accurate. There was a massive storm last night and the aurora was visible in my city. I checked with the app in the afternoon, the forecast showed no chance of seeing aurora so I went to sleep and missed it.
