I love Autosport. The app was never great to begin with but recent updates have made things much worse. I can't understand why there's such an issue with being able to login and read both normal and feature articles. It's bad enough that a reading app in 2020 doesn't have slide to scroll, but literally being unable to login to read stuff as a paying subscriber for months takes things to another level.

I tried for the second time to subscribe to autosport. The subscription lasted one day, and then I'm being logged out without any chance to log back in. I contacted the support, but after a few random mail, they stopped answering without solving the problem. It happens to me in the paste with their website. I was hoping for a better outcome with the app, but it seems not to be the case.

Poor attempt. I still use the old app. We waited years for a new app from autosport and they haven't delivered. It is too difficult to tell if you miss a story, and takes much longer to load articles than the old app, if at all. If you're not a plus subscriber you are the enemy judging by this. Edit: Old app has now mysteriously stopped working even though I paid 2.99 for it. Now I have to use this app and articles don't let me scroll beyond the headline. I was a plus subscriber but cancelled.

I have given up and uninstalled the app. Like a few others the latest system update has locked me out of my subscription. I can sign in on Chrome, so I guess this is the only option. Update, I have uninstall for a second time. The app never works as advertised, ad free, I get the worst dross click bait on it. I often cannot login, sorry Autosport, but if I could give you minus stars for this app I would and I have been a subscriber for years!

Not particularly impressed. I have to login every time i open the app, despite having the 'remember me' option checked. Many videos don't play on the first or subsequent attempts, or ever. Often meaning that i have to tolerate multiple runs of the ads when trying to get to video content, only for the video to not run anyway.

Thought I'd review the new app, version 3.0. I'm glad to say it doesn't disappoint, it's still has bad as the last version, actually it's worse because in the old version I could navigate and scroll, as soon as I try anything with the "All new 2021 version" it just crashes, I've never been able to read an article since Wednesday. So we'll done Autosport you've made the worst app imaginable even worse.

July 2021 - is zero stars an option yet? It worked fine for a while, the new app was an improvement for sure but now my Plus subscription is not recognised again and I'm inundated with gross clickbait ads after every article. Let's not mention the spelling and grammatical errors, that's just par for the course nowadays. March 2020 - The app no longer will accept the Plus sign-in so all the content I pay for is unavailable. I'm guessing this is no longer supported.

The content is great, but the app is poor with the most recent content often buried below older content. Right now the lead story in the app is one from three weeks ago. However, there is an alternative - use the website, which works great on mobile. If you want an icon on your home screen, Hermit allows you to create a 'web app' version as well.
