App fine at first, however I've had it for nearly a year now and it's only gotten worse. Only useful while I had the pro subscription for $6 a month, and was basically useless with the free version. Not only is the app still just as clunky, it also does not recognize any birds. I tested the photos it didn't recognize on chat GPT and it had no issue with recognition. When free AI bots can recognize birds better than your app and you paywall my hardware, you're trash! MAKE AN API FOR MY HARDWARE!

I love my Bird Buddy and think it's honestly wonderful. My criticisms are of the app alone. The app updated but my suggestions remain: I wish there was a way to multi select and bulk delete postcards within collections. Right now it's very tedious. Also, when a photo is identified incorrectly, I can't move it because it's the cover postcard for the (wrong) species. I should be allowed to delete it and have the species removed especially if it's the only image for it and it's wrong.

This is a very good app and a very good bird feeder, the one suggestion I have is I really with there was a way to trim the videos for each visit. The videos so often are 30 or 60 seconds, yet there's only a 1.5 second blip in the middle of the video that actually has birds. If I could trim down the video manually like how I can select the good pictures, I could save a lot of space

Update: this is an enormous waste of money unless you are prepared to subscribe to pro to make it usable. It is pretty disingenuous to market it without making this very clear. Wring out the cash! My $300 bird feeder is good, but very expensive. The premium subscription being required to not be irritated by repeat, constant misidentification, is not good. Be serious.

I like that it says bird species and that when they get it wrong, which happens a lot, it let's you change it. However 3 star because it's not an intuitive or streamlined app. Going to notifications sets you back to the main page which it doesn't let you set. Everytime you fly away, it doesn't take you back to where you were but to the main gallery page. When you go into savings pics, you get sent back to the main page all the way at the top even if you scrolled half way down. Super annoying

I'm unhappy with the latest version. I liked flipping thru photos from around the world. Now you can only watch videos. That's too time consuming. Responding to developer's reply: neither of those options are great. Why would I want to see more photos of the same birds that I already see? As for connecting to another BB, I did that once and saw one postcard of one bird. No, I prefered taking a minute and flipping thru a couple dozen postcards from around the world. That was awesome

The latest version of the Android app is significantly broken on my phone, after working fine in previous versions. I cannot download or share photos now. The quick download button throws up an unhelpful error message with no suggestion for resolution. The share button now saves a text file instead of the photo itself. It's not a permissions issue, I checked, it's just hosed. Phone is a Samsung A14. If this doesn't get fixed then I'll take it down and cancel my order for the hummingbird feeder.

Miserable product. Connected to my phone one time while at work. But even then there was nothing but trouble. Got home and needed to change wifi. No way to do it so I deleted the feeder and started over. It never found the feeder again. Tried to do a support ticket and it doesn't like my password. Tried to reset my password and I get a image like it's a broken link. Using a Galaxy Note 10+
