HaHaHa. The description says this is where to listen to the JayMac show, which hasn't been on for months. Just goes to show how interested the Developers are in keeping this app up to dare. Update 5/3/2020 I like ksl, but the app suks. I installed it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and still have the same problem of constant buffering, or crashes. I close the app and restart it and it works for a few seconds then crash.

This app is so FRUSTRATING because it gives you a notification on your phone but when you tap on the notification to find out what's going on you can't find the story or article anywhere. Why do you have breaking notifications if no one can read them? The developers need to fix this problem by either removing the notifications or making it so that when you click on the notifications it will take you to the story.

I've spent more time listening to the same damn Gardener Village commercial it plays after it disconnects/reconnects than I have to the actual radio. Also, it needs a big fat "click this to listen live now" button. They don't make it clear like other radio apps. And I tried to use their website to listen live, and it's even more useless.

I was trying to listen to a BYU foorball game recently but the KSL Newsradio web app wasnt working for me. This only worked slightly better. It would play for about 15-20 minutes at a time and then the audio stream would cut out. I tried closing the app and restarting it but that wouldn't work. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling this app three times over the course of the game and finally got so tired of it that I gave up. I didnt even get to listen to most of the second half. Horrible.

This app would be so much better if you could customize what notifications you get! I don't care about the live stuff, I'd rather wait until the report is finished. And I couldn't care less about most of the sports or political stuff. So I get a ton of notifications each day, and usually only care about one or two of them. And often when I click on one of those that I do want to see, it doesn't even take me to the article. That is SO frustrating!!

Yeah, requiring an account just to use the app is a ridiculous and unnecessary addition. KSL PR response: "We want to deliver an enhanced experience for our listening audience." ....by having app links never work from notifications, never delivering any "tailored" or "enhanced" experience, and probably just selling your data somehow to profit! If the app actually was an improved experience, then maybe, MAYBE they could justify requiring an account. But the experience has literally gotten worse.

It's ok. But most of the time it cuts out or completely disconnects and I get too many alerts and for the same thing and I can't turn it off. There is no preferences... Now it's making me create an account and login That's the last thing I want to do.

Two major issues with this app. I want more control over the notifications so I can chose which type I want and which type I don't. Also when I get a breaking news alert, the notification link doesn't take me to the story. Users have been complaining about this for four years and you still haven't fixed it.
