This app is the worst app I've ever used. Some times it sends notifications then it will stop for weeks. I've reset my notification preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled, logged in and out - nothing helps. It's absolutely obnoxious to have an app so glitchy that we as parents need. Wish I could give it negative stars. Or, rather, not have the school system use it at all.

Google Classroom is better because at least it's organized better, sure I know what my percentage is but the fails in comparison to letting me know what I have due or not with notifications

Crashes and freezes often. Get message notifications then messages don't show up. Can't see attendance calendar on Android phone. It's cutoff and won't scroll. Not a good app! *edit Feb 2023. I am trying to use Edsby on my laptop. Cannot find Attendance info anywhere. Why must this be so difficult. Looking forward to a response so I can access this information SOMEWHERE!

I can't say I love this app. I think the layout is passable, at absolute best but the complete lack of notifications causes me to constantly miss new assignments and messages from teachers unless I'm constantly checking the app, which takes long enough to start up as it is. I feel that there isn't really a solid, reliable way to submit my assignments, and the app itself is overall clunky and not fantastic. It feels like a beta, not a full app. One star because You Tried.

This app is truly revolutionary in the sense that no matter how hard you try to work with it, it always seems to be rising up against you. Why is it that my phone can emulate a PSP or a 3DS just fine but can barely run an app that lets me hand in my homework online? This app crashes all the time, but when it doesn't crash, it's laggy, and the UI is clunky. I'm normally pretty good with figuring out bad UI, but I've been using this app (and its site) for over 4 years and I can still barely navigate it. I can't wrap my head around it. This app is the definition of a necessary evil. I hate it with every fiber of my being, but I have to use it for school. I thought the website was the pits of UI hell, but apparently, it was just the gates, this is it. This is the pits of hell. I could probably come up with a better UI and I'm a high schooler who can barely code, and whose drawings/design mockups all look like Helen Keller's ill-fated attempt at using MS Paint.

The interface is not very intuitive. Changing from one screen to the next is sluggish. Worst of all is the ATTENDANCE screen as it takes forever to load, only displays the "yearly" listing BUT screen only shows MONDAY & part of TUESDAY - won't scroll left/right to see other days. Plus, to scroll up/down for the months it is frozen THEN jumps as it catches up. Not a very impressive app to use.

Edsby is kinda cringe, ngl gonna lie. It is super inefficient at what it is supposed to do, and there are far better alternatives. Edsby had been nothing but great pain trying to recieve classwork and grades, and I think it has no place in my heart. It is trying to be something it is not, and the development team is highly incompetent when it comes to the design of the application as a whole. There is also no notification feature enabled on the application, which makes everything so much harder.

No consistent "back" button, which is absolutely necessary when there is so much useless information and tabs on the screen. Very difficult to login. Difficult to access multiple profiles at the same time despite have usernames and passwords available. Looks like they used Facebook's interface from 2008 and trying to give it life 13 years later. Junk
