I'm using this app on my Pixel 6a, and I get 45 levels of brightness. I love that this app lets me change it, as there's no built in feature. I have it set so that when I open FlashDim, my flash is set to 45/45 and turns off when I close the app. I've used this on my Pixel 4a, but it won't let me change the brightness. I am sure this is due to the hardware, and FlashDim even gives me a warning that my device isn't supported. Thank you for making this open source app.

Love that it's open source! This is going to sound crazy, but when I first installed it the top row of icons wasn't displaying properly and overlapped the notification bar. I could see the info button, but wasn't tappable, and the settings and git buttons weren't visible. After you mentioned settings that should work I installed it again and when I opened it there was a robust set of settings including the ability to set the initial level and toggle with Volume keys. Excellent app, thanks!

I have a Pixel 7 and access this app through the pull down menu. It often takes numerous taps to get the light to turn on and sometimes it will randomly turn off by itself. Never happens with the pre-installed flashlight app. The concept is great. Just a buggy execution.

Love the dimming feature and how it fits my device's theme, I enjoy the fact it's an open source app with no ads from what I've seen. It's enjoyable that I don't have to use the app icon to open it as I can just replace the flashlight in my control center with this one. Overall this is a 10/10 and exactly what I needed.

The FlashDim light has 5 levels of intensity and is the brightest light I have found so far. The light turns on immediately when I click the app and turns off when I close it. There is a one button SOS activation option as well as a Morse code 'translator' that will turn your typed text into Morris code flashes. We'll done, developers!

I like the app! Very well designed. My one issue is that when using the quick settings tiles, if you change the brightness, and then toggle the flashlight off and on again, the tile still says it's at max value despite being the device's default (samsung). Would be great if this app could set the default flashlight brightness for every time the flashlight was turned on (ideally regardless of if it was the app that initially turned it on, so it would work with assistants or the shake torch app.)

Simple to use with just enough features to make it perfect! I tried a bunch of other apps with either way to many complicated features (I don't need 9 different strobe options from a flashlight app), or way too simple. This one allows for easy adjustment of brightness, and a few shortcuts to make access quick and simple. Highly recommend.

Really good and simple app! Allows adjusting flashlight brightness with the edition of morse and SOS! The only problem i had is if you repeditively move the slider up and down very fast the flashlight starts strobing like crazy and i can only turn it off through system panel. (But that's not gonna be a problem normally) Reccomendations: ajustable morse code speeds, a strobe slider, and some animation (like buttons turning on and off in color when picked to show if that mode is on)
