Took away everything that was free that made the app usable. Can't even check warscrolls for possible models I am interested in, or build a list to get an idea of an army I may want to pursue, etc. And even if you have Warhammer+ you still can't unlock the warscrolls, you still need the battletome (as it's always been, but still). The App has gone backwards, so has the game, and company. Games workshop needs to do better for its customers, future customers, it's business, and the hobby.

Walking into a game not knowing anything about my opponents army is an unnecessary barrier in this game. For a while I was able to read up on enemy units which was not only good for strategy (getting excited about the game itself) But for a smooth game. Now you have to pay hundreds of dollars to be able to gain knowledge in the game or walk in unprepared and sloppy, which hurts the community.

This feels like a complete step back, without a paid subscription you're limited to a single saved army, there's no support for battallions, and it feels like less information and previews of the models. The old app and AoS themes had me interested in picking up the hobby, but if this is the direction they're heading in, no thank you.

App has some of the same functionality as the 3rd edition app and is easy enough to navigate. I will say UI wise and looking at your information for your units is cumbersome with everything behind separate drop down boxes. Also after the update to my app, I no longer have access to my Skaven information including the warscrolls which is a shame since we had that information at least in the 3rd edition app. Worst part is book isn't out yet so I just can't play my game now this week...

Everything is being locked behind multiple pay walls, including unit warscrolls. In order to make more than one list at a time, you will need a subscription. In order to view any rules for an army whose book has been released, you will need to purchase said book. This includes the warscrolls. You can't even view what a unit is equipped with, or what they do, or how many models are in the unit, unless you buy the book for that faction.

Information on units is now paywalled for each faction. All the drop down menus are also very clunky. The 3e app was far better than the new one in price, information available, and the interface. I will now be using 3rd party sites to build lists, and check out warscrolls. Getting poked until we cough up more dough on a game we have probably all invested thousands into, just to be able to have a plan for what our friends are going to bring to the table is appalling.

Too many drop-down menus. It would've been better if you had kept to the older design somewhat; keep each alliance in a separate tab, each army in a separate tab, then sort heros and auxiliaries. Instead of having drop downs for everything, just have their full warscroll visible like the previews showed. Plus, the drop downs in the army builder are misleading. They dont show army abilities (like lores and manifestations) until you pick one. Please reduce the drop-down menus and just show things

I'm not paying hundreds of dollars just to buy books for armies I don't have that will be outdated in a month. I love the layout and function of the app but GW shot themselves in the foot. You had an amazing thing going here, 4th edition was making a killing, but now you've made it basically impossible for new players to check out what they may like easily, and for veteran players we now can't look at other armies to strategize. Fix this.
