Not worth the monthly cost to read the newspaper on an android app. Very buggy. I didn't think it could get worse but it has. The latest issue: I'm logged into my account on the app but it demands that I now subscribe--not login--for $22 per month to read any story. I already have a subscription! I've uninstalled the app and will try it again but I'm not optimistic. Reading the news on the local TV websites is a better option right now.

Actually, NO STARS. Awful, awful app. The paper was unreadable on the app for at least a week after the previous update. Called and emailed for help but got none. Told me they knew about the problem and were working on it. Today FINALLY there is an update in the app store. (Though why doesn't the app automatically tell me there is an update available?... Stupid! And frustrating!) Wish they would text or email subscribers to keep us updated on problems. Oh, well. Until the next "update".

The app fails to load on a regular basis. It looks like it is just taking me to a scanned version located in your web page Scrolling and pinch zoom is also inconsistent Some articles can be opened by hitting the top right corner Others you have to pinch zoom. The scanning of pages results in poor quality pictures. I wish this version of the app was on par with the iPhone version!!

Worked poorly for several months. Pinch zoom worked marginally then would drop into one finger zoom. The only way to stop it was to change page and return. Advancing pages extremely slow, like several seconds. Reorienting from portrait to landscape returned to page 1 by default. Previous version had none of these problems. Now all it does is spin without loading pages. Thankfully still works on my pad Update: an updated version of the app is much better. Pinch zoom is solved in my android pad.

Update: 8/22 & 12/22 - keeps asking me to login, when I haven't logged out. Update: 11/21 - weather location problem from '18 & '20 seems fixed. Still too many ads for a pd subscription. Listed articles are repetitive. How many times can you list the same article? I've seen 3, listed one after another!

Terrible app. Buggy and constantly crashes. Difficult to navigate and view the e-edition (the only way to seemingly view all the day's content, versus the online content, which is still half advertisements in spite of paying for subscription). I take want to support local media but this app is making it difficult.

This is my last interaction with this app, and by extension, the content provided by this newspaper. It's hard to detail every way in which this app fails. It's easier to think of what I like and expect in a (PAID!!) newspaper app and then just assume that it doesn't exist here, is counterintuitively built, or simply doesn't work. I put up with a lot to read the content provided by some of the best (and last) professional local reporters in this market but this app makes it impossible. Goodbye

It's hard to read on a cellphone when half of the front page is taken up by an advertisement. In the settings I set to not receive notifications of sports of the Badgers (actually I'd rather not get any sports notifications, but that's not a choice). Anyways, I got more notifications of sports than anything else. Annoying!
