For some reason, this app consistently shows much higher values than any other weather app. I understand that there is some variation due to different forecast algorithms. But today for example, it says the UV index will go up to 7, while other apps say 4 and 5. That's quite a drastic difference I think. I'd love to use this but it's just not consistent with the data from other weather apps and seems to be the outlier.

Works pretty well, minimal and clean interface. Tutorial is in German only but it's not really needed. Flashed up an info sheet "disclaimer" about what formulas they use on first load but there's no way to get it back again. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have notifications which is what I installed the app for.

Decent functioning / looking app. Is German and the start-up tutorial is in German too. App finds your location very quickly. The app has no home screen widget, which sucks. App does appear to be free at least. Is designed for working with some device that this company makes, but the app can work as a stand-alone product. Again pity that app does not have an included home screen widget.

Good app for UV index info. I liked its diagram. Also nice to have recommended time outside with different protection levels. I find it really useful. Update May 2022: Suggested improvement: the interface of "Enter the UV index" on the timer screen is outdated, more modern interface would be nice, for example a scroll down and up like in timer apps or similar. Thank you!

Very nice and sleek no-nonsense design, possibility to define skin type / sun protection factor directly affecting the calculation of max exposure time. UV / Temperature / Sun rise / Sunset time indication and all of this for past and next week. It has even a countdown timer for exposure time. WITHOUT Ads and Free !! Seriously, I would happily pay for this level of GUI design quality 😃. Love it, use it every day. Kudos 🙏.

Their UV index data provider (darksky) is not very accurate for my city (Ottawa, Canada), but the app developers have recently added the ability to manually edit the index used in its calculations, which is not ideal, but is very useful. If you live in a location with better data from darksky, I would highly recommend this app, as it is very clean and attractive.

Its a great app if it worked properly. I find I have to open the app, close it again before the UV Index measurement is shown. It's a great simple interface and I would have no trouble recommending but for the one issue and real hassle of having to open this twice every time.

What is the time duration setting for? Is it for how long I should stay in the sun? Please explain its purpose. I understood UV damage in Australia to be far worse than overseas, ie, I wear sunblock EVERYDAY. Now I don't need to, after 30 years!? This makes no sense! Being very fair doesn't always entail having blond or red hair and being covered in freckles. That is a stereotype! Brown/black hair doesn't always accompany brown/black skin! Your examples are absurd!
