It's good for the news pushes, however the weather part is now lacking after the last update. Unless you go into the app, and even then sometimes the weather part doesn't update even then. And it's mostly on the notification screen that this is appearing too, not in the actual app. It'll update the information inside the app, however outside of it, that's a different story.

The app provides what it says it will provide- local bay area news, weather reports, and traffic updates. But they also force you to watch a plethora of ads. It's disgusting and totally inappropriate to have local breaking news about homicides and other dangerous and risky emergency situation, but when you tap on the link, you first have to watch an advertisement. Whoever had the idea to do this is the scum of the earth.

Up to the minute news and weather. Since I watch NBC in the a.m., this is a great way to get the late breaking! The only news channel with Storm Ranger so weather is right on the money. After months of enjoying the news, all of the sudden it scrunches up and becomes unreadabke. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and have the same results. Maybe it's time to seek other bay area news as it happens. Too bad.

Instld 16Nov'23 update cuz I had rolled back to very old prev ver. & it won't play video. REALLY don't like new "bar notif" Before, I could pull down shade & see temp, now it says "mostly cloudy" (or whatever) & I HAVE TO EXPAND JUST TO SEE TEMP. Also, scrolling L/R for locations is NOT helpful, old ver of click/see ALL much better! Rolling back..again! Prev Rev: Crumb! wish I hadn't installed the may'20 update! Now, the interactive weather map doesn't work right! It was my fav part of the app!

This app still sucks on an android. No storm ranger radar. No one has reached out to me about this. So screw it. Uninstalling. It blows. Update 4/11/22:I tried it again and the weather radar is still mostly non functional. It shows up but doesn't update and is not interactive. This is on a Samsung Note 10+ also the devs have not reached out to me about this problem, yet. Seriously, i don't think they give a rip about us Android users they are Apple-centric snobs.

This app does its job but is poorly programmed. The alerts do not show full text, and opening them you will not see the headline text at all. Performance is very sluggish. Looks like the chief one day came to the staff meeting and said "i hear apps are the thing to do these days, so you over there, you code an app for us"

Great app. If you sign up for alerts they only send you important stories and not junk. Alerts will also be sent to your Droid gear. I haven't tried to see if you can read the whole article on the Gear though. Overall I highly recommend!

So many ridiculous alerts now. Way over the top. I turn off all notifications and alerts, but your app turns them all back on. I get 20 to 30 alerts a day because of the virus news. I deleted just to stop it
