Have a queston. I want to star up one of my goons and they says: all goon spots must be occupied. Whats does it mean , what I need to update , what are this goon spots?

When i play in the PVP even though i win, i don't earn any trophies, so i am stack with zero. Is there a bug or am i doing something wrong?
