2025 update: I've been having an issue with the Bluetooth connection lately. Used to be rock solid, I would leave the radar plugged in all the time and it would work the the first time. Now I keep having to clear cache to get the Bluetooth connected, and it drops sometimes mid session. Will there be a usb-c device coming? Also, I'd like to be able to select a player and see a graph of their sessions over time with average session speed, high speed by session, pitches thrown per session.

My initial rating would have been 1.5 stars. I was having many of the issues that others have reported with inconsistency when using the app. I went into settings on the app and allowed it to export photos and videos to the gallery on my phone (Android). This at least gave me a backup of each video. The actual problem is that the app doesn't prompt the user to give it permissions on the phone. This is a developer issue. I manually allowed all 5 permissions and now the app works perfectly.

You guys really need to fix this its so frustrating and unreliable it makes it almost un usable. Constantly disconnects .Intermittently show velocity on video. Ive had both a ball coach and smart coach for years .I like where its going but i went out and bought a new phone to use this app .I record video and it saves 3 versions of each vertical horizontal and with speed display .Misses more than it records .I use it with a good battery and a seperate backup .takes forever to connect

Good for tracking sessions but borderline useless for video with the speed overlay. The clips per pitch isn't consistent & many don't show video. If you delete a pitch (random velo; not smart enough to determine pitch vs the hit) then suddenly clips that had video no longer do. If you want a whole video of game, you're effed if Export to Photos isn't set first. And if you think it's set, it may have been reset by an update. No way to get videos out afterward. Totally walled off. Absolute TRASH.

I like the new update, particularly being able to define sessions (rather than having each day grouped together). I use this for disc golf, and that allows me to track backhand and forehand throws separately. I do wish I could delete readings from a live session for misread speeds, or ghost speeds. It's annoying to have to end the session, delete the bad reading, then restart the session.

Overall I like where this is going. However it's very inconsistent with adding the speed to the auto edit videos. I may get 15% with the speed included. This makes it hard to align speed with a video. It would also be nice if you could do a video playback of the last pitch while in the session. I've also had issues getting the device to reconnect if it loses connection. Overall a great product and app, but too but too buggy to use confidently for analysis. Looking forward to using it with GC vid

The App is cool but there are bugs. The video is extremely glitchy at times. The video playback became unwatchable sometimes. For some reason it's speed up 2 or 3x with lots of dropped frames. Edit: One feature missing that is really annoying is not having a frame advance button during the play back. I need to see what the body is doing at different stages of the swing such as at the point of contact. Just the addition of that feature would make the play back feature actually useful.

Editing for the new version that requires subscription. It doesn't work. I can't access the menu to log in or out, the app just crashes any time I leave the landing screen. Good thing they're charging for this now that they've broken it again. I just hope it takes them a year to fix it like last time they broke it. Absolutely ridiculous.
