I know adverts sponsor the site but it could be done in a better way. The story you're reading is bobbing up and down. Just as you are about to touch the screen it moves and you've touched something you don't want to see. Very frustrating. It can be easily remedied by putting all of the adverts onto the site at once. So simple. I don't use the site much anymore.

Tap on notifications and you get "network error article not available" and then a blank white screen. Tap back button and you get a page with different articles on it, not the one shown on the notification. Tap on "new articles available" pop up and you get another selection of articles, again not including the one in the notification. This app goes from bad to worse, not to mention the poor quality reporting and typos in articles. Surely Reach PLC can afford to invest in a decent app?

Not a good app. Offers to personalise which article categories you receive, but after choosing, it becomes evident that this feature doesn't work. Also, more notifications than I receive from any other app. They are absolutely constant. Otherwise, expect the same level of journalism you'd find on the website.

The local news articles and traffic reports are good. However it is disappointing that when following the links from the notifications, they do not go to the articles advertised. Most times the articles are really difficult to find or do not appear to be available on the website which is really frustrating.i

Iconically Glacial. Every day is a slow news day with the latest release of this app. Update: a new version is out. They have achieved the impossible. It is even worse. Clicking on a notification always results in an error. Giving up.

Don't Bother !!!! You ONLY get 20 articles to read for free a week then, all DL want is MONEY 💰. Even the free articles have a charge on some as there "PREMIUM". A lot of articles are written with AI. The usual articles have enough mistakes and AI makes it worse. Everyone is just money grabbing nowadays. Not worth it.

Unfortunately it's not great, online videos on articles aren't related and junk. Comments section on sensitive or emotive reports arent available or removed. News articles are poorly written and many are just click bait. It's not so terrible but it's not a good news source more like a Facebook feed. I wish it could do better.
