The app stopped working well. The EQ does not save, so the custom can't be used. The app hasn't been updated for a year, and the "more features" thing that has said "coming soon" also does not work. Edit: The app still does not work, but customer support did get back to me trying to fix the issue with a bunch of different things I could try. That's why I raised this from 1 to 3 stars.

I am using a Google Pixel 8a so I have no issues that are os related. The app is fantastic! Out of the box the skullcandy ANC 2s had... not great audio quality. This app helped a lot with its much better personal sound and EQ settings allowing the sound quality to not be downright horrendous. Please add it so you can customize the minimum, maximum intensity, as well as a way to change what pitches are picked up by the bass as this would fix the VERY major bass issues the headset experiences.

I bought the ANC rail, and the sound quality is terrible. You have to go to equalizer, go to custom, max out all the sound options. Then, you have to disable the ANC feature, as it ALWAYS activates by default, because if you don't, things will still sound terrible. Now the problem is, you ALWAYS have to do this EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. As the app absolutely REFUSES to remember the settings you have set for it. App must ALWAYS be running and manually started every time as well.I can't deal with this

Even the lowest setting on my phone and these are to loud. Little, if any difference whether ANC is on, off or aware. The intensity slider has absolutely no effect. Very nice sound and well made but having no sound control is weird considering that's what the app is for. And yes, I did the hearing test.

Pretty useless, I bought a pair of crusher anc 2 XL headphones and I have no issues with the headphones at all but the app is completely useless it really adds nothing to the experience you can't already do without it plus it wants to know your precise location something I don't get behind in any app allow approximate location nope not good enough won't let you use it. If you turn off location nope won't work. DO NOT USE!

Just as bad as the old Skullcandy app. Never saves the button settings. I hate the touch feature so much I purposely set 2 taps to play/pause. I keep pressing the touch function by accident. I have to reset it every 2 or 3 days. Absolutely annoying. The only good thing is that it says your equalizer settings.

I've tried troubleshooting, and it still won't connect. From forgetting my device(ANC2), force closing, uninstalling the app, resetting my phone, and all permissions, I even let my headphones die, then charged them and tried again. The furthest I've got was where it will allow me to pair, and then it will say it failed. What sucks is that I got these headphones last year full price. I wish I could do an update on the firmware because my LG c4 TV doesn't connect to the regular Bluetooth as well.

This app is full of trackers. Also, every time the app updates, the button settings return to default. MADDENING! Then there's the thing where when i take out 1 bud the voice is telling me "pairing " or something. dude it's still in my hand, why would it lose pair?Although it's better than the previous version supplied with my sesh buds, it still needs help. Please find your poor programmer some help! These seem like great quality buds, now the app needs to be up to par.
