Works for me. 5/16 update: Been using this app for a few months now. It's the best I've found so far, BUT am frustrated also. It cuts out, goes dead abruptly. Don't know if it's the app or the station. Haven't found an alternative so....1/2021 update:. Still more reliable than not. Not being a TV person, I really appreciate this app.

Use mostly to listen to WGCU radio 📻 live via Wifi. App not as reliable as other NPR players. Used to be better. After clicking on radio, then listen live, page with Play ▶️ comes up. Tapping that, there is a 2-3 sec delay before spinning progress circle. Sometimes no response at all, no matter how many times touched. 2nd main beef: after an interruption from other app, it halts playing. Unlike other NPR apps, does not recover. Starting from top, one must listen again to longish sponsor.

I like to listen around 3 AM and regularly get a message that the site is not available using the app so I have to search outside the app to connect and get to a site that requires me to go to multiple Web pages just to listen live to news, Rather than just being able to turn on the news and drift back to sleep I gave to fully wake up to figure out the site as it requires my full attention to figure out. Most irritating

It is really chsllenging to use. Some times multiple presses still does not work. uses too much data in the background. Lowered my rating because it does not seem to be any effort to try to resolve this huge memory drain. anoying app keeps asking me to review. i am still stuck with it still no better.

Cuts out every so often. Not sur if its the app or my internet connection. 9/17/24.app not working. My husband tried on his phone but couldn't play either due to "network issue." I can get WBEZ Chicago just fine. Its been an issue for years.

This app "cuts out," or interrupts the programming and re-starts with the FPL AD sometimes only couple times a morning, but sometimes per hour. I switch to WEDU for continuous coverage. I always come back to WGCU to try to see because most of its local coverage and people are of more interest to me.

I love to listen to WGCU live when I walk..BUT as I try to slip my phone into a cell phone fanny pack (no matter how careful I am) I invariably end up with Three Song Stories, Grape Minds etc .... having all those other program options so prominent on the page with the "listen live" is a terrible idea. PLEASE rearrange your home page. I usually switch to WAMU or WNYC and move on with my life.
