Too many bells and whistles now. I like the cam scrubbing feature and the advanced swell data but everything else is just bloated. The new premium+ is bogging down the whole app. I can barely get the cams to load anymore and when they do there all glitchy switching views. Plus half the time I open the app nothing loads at all. I've already reinstalled and cleared the cache multiple times. If your going to continue with the premium+ route make separate premium app and spare the rest of us.

I keep receiving instant "video unexpectedly failed" notice when trying to view live cams. Not sure why as I was able to view love cams in the past then all of a sudden I can't. Frustrating. I could find no information to resolve issue. 05-19-21 UPDATE..... Just saw your response. Just to update, this app still will NOT open like it used to in the past. Very frustrating as I became to reply on the information. I just get "Surfline has stopped" instantly upon trying to open the app.

I appreciate the move towards subscription and away from the intrusive ads but given a history of app issues and obnoxious ads just to get to info that's already publicly available for free, I'm not signing up for your aggregator service. It's a bit more tedious to click a bookmark to see tide charts, buoy reports, and weather vs having it in one place and with pretty graphics but it's what I've had to do every time the app breaks anyway so I'm already in the habit

The app no longer works on my Note 10. And there is no update available. It just says "something went wrong" and won't load any of my Favorited cams. But it works fine if I open through an internet browser. Also when the app DOES work, it's super sensitive when you turn your phone to change the screen to horizontal. I feel like the paid version of this app should be substantially better.

Used this app many years now. *Don't download or update! The new app is as bad as closeout sets on your head, I can't find the biweekly videos on my local breaks around venice, the wind charts are worse. Also Now the rotation is messed up on my note 10 and quickly goes back to vertical with the slightest movement after I rotate to horizontal. Update... Now the weekly and weekend forcasts don't show up on any spots as they did before and I can't even find the cast in the news or video sections.

Won't allow me to save PW, so have to look up each time I log on. Total pain (and so easy to fix but they won't allow). However, I have 40 breaks I frequent (or wish I did) from Ireland, Italy and Hawaii to various Asian to Latin American breaks (been to all) as well as 20 at home in FL; so, the quick access to those reports, from vids and photos to swell reports etc via the saved favorites is indeed a winner. Aside from this, the app needs tons of help. I give it a 3+ since they did huge upgrade roughly 6 mos ago. Hope this helps. (Magic seaweed seems far less reliable though their software is probably a lot better).

This app is terrible, it has never worked. My favorites list is always blank, on multiple devices. I have to click around, open/close, mess with it every time to get my favorites to show. Now nothing I do will get them to show. Didn't these guys just get 10 million dollars? This app sucks, and the service is overpriced. Most of the cams have serious image quality problems.

Fantastic app, but extremely better on iOS. The android version is so much worse and has practically half of the useful features as it's iOS counterpart. I pay for surf line premium, which I love, but on android you don't get specific spot reports, no ideal conditions information, no cam rewind, no pinch zoom in, and more missing features. It's a shame how much worse an app can be from one platform to another.
