It works most of the time, at most stations. I've had intermittent issues with the app not authorizing the pump, or the app shows the station takes ValeroPay at the pump and they actually don't. The discounts that are available through the app are worth the occasional issues for me. So, 4 stars because the discounts are really good, it is convenient, & faster more than 95% of the time.

I have a Samsung S23 Ultra and upgraded to One UI7. Since then your app has stopped functioning properly. When I open the app it closes after a few seconds but doesn't completely shutdown. I have deleted, reinstalled and restarted my phone 6 times. I opened the app, log in and the same thing would happen each time as noted above. This same situation has happened twice before in the past, but I deleted, reinstalled, restarted the phone and the app worked as it should. This needs to be checked out

The app has consistently crashed every time I pull in. 3/14/2025 - 5/21/2025 - 7/28/2025 Here's a trick to try to make it work. Turn on airplane mode. Get to the map option in the app and turn airplane mode off. Hopefully it allows you to select your station and start pumping. Worked today 7/8/2025. Good luck!

So easy!! Update, It used to be so easy. The Valero Pay + app on my phone will no longer remain open once I click it to use it. As soon as it opens, it quickly shuts off. I have restarted my phone and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice now. I would prefer using the app to my card. I have had nothing but problems with this app since I received my renewal Valero credit card updated personal info sent multiple messages to customer service and talked to tech support at least 3 times. Installed and uninstalled the program multiple times reset passwords etc. Nothing works program will not send code verification to my mobile. Can only use physical card at pump or inside. Not able to process promotions.

This app has worked great so far. Only issue has been a payment error but the payment still processes. Now all of a sudden the app can't locate my location. It shows the address of another station that I'm not at and I can't change it. I have turned location on and off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app along with updating it. Nothing has worked

Hit or miss app payments. Mostly miss. I signed up and linked my bank account to this app with high hopes of getting some relief on my regular fill-ups. I've tried it probably 8 times so far at three different Valero stations. It's worked twice... What a waste. From the other reviews, it looks like nothing is being done to make it work consistently. I can see it trying to communicate with the pump, but it just flashes back to the payment screen and doesn't activate the pump.

It set up great, got all my payment methods added, signed in & out a couple of times, no problem, then the next day it will NOT sign me in, no matter what I do. Says something about problem with network. I've even uninstalled it & reinstalled. Same problem. My husband has had no problem with staying logged in, but it absolutely would not let him pay with the app @ the pump. He finally had to just use a card, losing out on his 30 cents off first use before 12/31. I missed too. App needs work.
