Messed up my previous phone so badly that I had to get a new one. The main problem was that I couldn't even use cellular connection past 8 pm until 8 am the next day no matter if it was turned on or off. Another thing it messes up is the web browser, where the ad blockers stop working on certain websites, making it more prone to viruses. Also, it's just really embarrassing being 16 years old and still not allowed to do almost anything on your phone.

I used adb to uninstall all companion verizon apps before my parents decided to install this one. I don't know if it was supposed to, but it doesn't prevent me from disabling its "deletion protection" in settings by removing its device admin permission. Maybe that's Verizon's way to make the app less intrusive, which is probably a good thing since other apps brick phones this way. I'm not sure why this is even a feature if parents still get notified if their child uninstalls or disables the app.

I hate this app a lot. It takes up a lot of my storage. I get messages all the time like "your web and app activity is being shared with your parent" THAT'S LITERAL STALKING i get it's for safety reasons but still that creepy. My mom made me download it incase I go to the mall with one of my friends and she waits in the food court and she can see where I am, that's all she said she'd use it for, but she also yses it to check my phone. But it's easy to deactivate.

Terrible, I tried using this app with my family but it kept glitching and wigging out whenever I open it. Please don't get this for your kid, get Family Link instead

What could this app possibly be doing in the background that uses 50% of my battery in the span of a few hours? This could actually seriously and PERMANENTLY mess up your phone if this continues. I might be biased, but I would genuinely let my child roam unrestricted on the internet before downloading this. I don't care about the consequences I risk facing, I'm not reducing my phone's metaphorical lifespan by god knows how long just so my parents can know what apps I'm using most.

I am a child who has this app on my phone, and it sucks. It blocks stuff just fine, which is what it is designed for, but most of the stuff the app can do you can do without it (time limit, data limit, etc.) The problem comes in when you try and unblock stuff. WiFi doesn't unpause, it'll restrict call and text sometimes even a few hours early, blocks random apps (like Amazon Music or once even my calculator app) without warning, and sometimes it just stops working, forcing you to reconnect it.

Found out recently that this app is blowing up my limited data usage without even being opened. Nice job, Verizon. Edit: I honestly can't stand this app. Now it's a permanent icon on my notifications bar, saying that it's updating data. I wouldn't care if this app didn't start kicking me to the home screen once I turn my phone on, even if an app was active while I turned it off. Fix these issues and kids wouldn't have so much of a problem with this parasite on their phone.

Horrid app. Blocks the dumbest things and can't function properly. Ruins the point of having a phone. Blocks things that aren't even inappropriate. It's annoying and completely ruins the function of the phone. I would rate it 0 stars if it was possible. Location is also off point, much easier to just send my location via. messages.
