Do not get the Verizon credit card. Just a forewarning if you do. Read the fine print..because without any forewarning to you whatsoever they will decrease your credit limit and the next thing you know ( because you have to use a credit card to auto-pay to get the discount on your phone bill) if they decrease your credit limit without forwarning you your phone bill payment is being declined. Shady practices. Cannot contact customer service through this app either.

Ever since I updated my app, I've been missing out on important notifications for my credit card purchases. Despite having all my notifications turned on in the settings, the app doesn't seem to alert me about any activity on my credit card. I used to rely on this app for updates, but now it's letting me down. It's really frustrating and disappointing.

The app is good but the verizon cc service sucks. Some Indians in a warehouse that just tell you everything is good when it's not. It shouldn't take 8 day from when they take the money out of your account to open your spending limit back up. Then they hang up on you when you tell them you want to cancel the cc do to their lack of fixing a simple issue. You pay your Amex card it goes through it away. You pay your chase cc it might take 48 hours but 8 days for the verizon card is ridiculous.

Easy to use! It appears that VZD credit process is not accurate and is longer than 1 - 2 billing cycles, which is claimed by VZW Visa credit customer service representatives, which is way too long! Plus, there needs to be an easier way to communicate with support, for example, chat features within the app! A 24/7 availability, which competitors have, and an easier option to call in to speak to humans, rather than the multiple layers of robots.

The app is functional, but extremely basic functions only. It has an area to track your rewards! DOESN'T WORK. Doesn't track rewards at all actually. Synchrony is terrible, card benefits are good, and the app should be entirely managed by a different company and the card by a different bank. Benefits are nice tho

No security log in. When you open the app your information shows right away, no fingerprint, no security code. Also reports wrong balance. My very first balance I paid in full, and now I have a $76 credit. This isn't how credit card apps should work, I use 3 others that offer secure log in and log out. I like the perks of the card, but this app does not make me feel like my information is being protected properly. Also, I don't recall seeing the points were ONLY for Verizon bucks..that sucks.

Update: Things seem to have been fixed in the app: Pending payments are showing up as pending and then posted as appropriate. It's a pretty straight forward app. Easy to use. Not a lot of frills which is nice. I use the app to make payments and that's all. But it works fine now. I do like the rewards. They seem to accumulate quickly, even though I don't use the card for anything but our Verizon bill.

I've been a satisfied customer for a few years now. I do wish the app and actual statement would get an update. Per purchase, the app and statement should specify the amount of cashback being awarded. That way it's easier to tell what category a retailer falls under. Like for example would Costco fall under "Groceries" or would it fall under "Everything Else"? Thanks in advance!
