Water sensors connect and go offline all the time. Drain batteries constantly. The worst!

the unit looks solid and it connects 2 Wi-Fi . the audible alarm works fine but it lacks texting and email alerts to the end user. The wasserstein phone application shows when there is leakage but there is no consistent audible alert on the phone that would wake someone up from sleep or who was not paying attention. if a firmware update to this device would allow texting the end-user that would make this a five star rating

Using Smart Water Sensor with Android. Useless. Does not send push notification or any alert stating the sensor is in contact with water. When you go into app it shows the alert in history, so I know it is sensing the water and just not sending the notification. Other issue is that when you test network connection, it always fails. Doesn't matter if I am standing right beside the router. Yet I know it is connected because the alert history is accurate. So in the end this product and app are both useless. No point in having a sensor to warn you of leaks that doesn't actually warn you of leaks.

I like the app and the leak detectors. What is insane is every time I look at rhe app on my phone I've been logged out thus no alarms cone through. We have 4 people in our house who should get an alarm and 3 days ago I tested it and not one of us got it. The local alarm is not very loud either. We would barely hear it from the basement unless standing at the basement door. I emailed them so let's see of there's a solution and then the app will get the 5 stars it deserves .

I have a water sensor. As with others here, the device appears to pair only after multiple attempts. Then after it it does, within app it appears the device is not connected but sensor does trigger notification. So, technically I guess it works but very difficult to trust it will when actually needed.

Can't use the app without verifying an email, and it won't send a verification email. Checked my spam folder, etc., and the Wasserstein webpage setup an account using this email, but I can't use this account for the app. Garbage app that's only purpose is to collect your info. Returning the water sensor.

October 2, 2018 OK, I checked it again ... while I was at work, at home, my son put the sensor on a plate with water ... my android phone was silent ... open the Wstein app, choose the sensor my son dipped in water and only now I see a message about the flood "The overflow was detected". app settings: sound - on, push notification - on. android apps settings for Wasserstein: permissions - phone - on, storage - on, your location - on; notifications - allow notifications - on, priority display - on, status bar - on, banners - on, lock screen - on... Can I tust this sensors? No. If you checking Wstein app every minute, this sensor's for you. ...by the way, IFTTT app does not work with Wstein.

Too much time wasted getting these devices connected on the app. Fails far too often.
