Worked first time on my new Sony TV. Thanks! How do I donate? You mention on a couple of answers to other reviews that their Sony TV may not have A2DP support, which is why the app may not work. Sony have confirmed that mine doesn't, yet the app still works very well. Are they just not switching on features on the bluetooth chip? I had to use your app for both headphones and strangely enough my keyboard too!

Sony TVs before 2017 do not pair with Bluetooth headphones but add this app and they do. This app solves that problem.You need to install via the app store on the TV as the PC browser play store website will say no compatible devices and your Sony TV will be greyed out. Without this app you can scan for Bluetooth devices on your TV and it will not find your headphones. This app does the scan for you. Once installed use the app to scan and find your headphones. Once found you do not need to go into the app again. Now the app has added your headphones you then use the basic TV setup just like normal. You go into the TV settings and Bluetooth option in the normal TV settings and magically the headphones will now be there. Select them and click connect.

Excellent!!! I have Sony headphones Wh-1000xm4 and Sony TV Kd-55xh8096...I bought the TV cos it has bluetooth (amongst other reasons). Super disappointed to find out the this TV does not have a2dp and wont connect to my new Sony headphones - feel a but ripped off. I read about this app and decided to try it. Had to do the scan 3 or 4 times and make sure my headphones disconnected from my phone but it worked. Sony kd-55xh8096 does have a2dp for headphones - they just disable it. This app worked a treat. My headphones auto-connect when I turn them on and the TV bluetooth source can be switched via the Sony Headphones app on my phone (as long as you stop sound source first). Thanks and highly recommended. Tried my son's Beats headphones and we couldnt get it to work. But it did work a treat for my Sony headphones.

I have this and the pay version of the app on my Sony TV. It recognizes my Bose headphones (which was a huge improvement over the non-functioning bluetooth feature that came with the TV), but I still cannot play the audio through the headphones. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the app, my tv or the headphones.

A basic app that does exactly what it set out to do. Thanks for making it! P.S. My understanding is no android tv supports more than 1 Bluetooth audio connection at a time, its a hardware issue, not the app's!

Whenever I am trying to connect it asking for donation.Initial two days it worked fine. Later when tried connect the device it is going for donation page only. I uninstalled many times and installed. Cleared cache and data still its showing same..Does the donation is must? My TV model is sony 49x8000G. Kindly do the needful

I have this working now, I was able to donate and so far ok. I liked this the first day I used it on my Sony 55" 4K smart tv. I synced my Beats Earbuds and Sony Headset successfully. However after two days it will not work. I have disconnected the devices from other devices, no success. I will donate, its only €0.79, when I tried to donate I had problems. Do I have to donate for it to work? Any suggestions or other apps, i would happily donate to one that works. regards, Jim

How do I remove paired devices off the app? I connected my Sony DVD Home Theatre for one day and the next day it stopped working. The dvd doesn't have the functionality to remove paired devices so how do I unpair it on the app so I can pair it again? I installed and uninstalled the app, that didn't work.
