I strongly advise against using Carigami. I had a really painfull and costly experience with my booking, leaving me, my wife and my 2 children (2 and 4 years old) at the airport without any option at 10 PM, due to an error between them and the local company. They unilaterally canceled my booking. I had to rent a smaller car for 5 times the price initially paid, and they did not accept to reimburse me the difference. AVOID using this service, you won't be backed in case of mistake on their side.

Terrible decision to force car sharing push "notifications" (adds) on people who just want the rental car functionality. Edit after Dev response: At least give users the opportunity to opt out of the car sharing push notifications without turning off all notifications for the app.

It shows you a low price, then you go further it will increase it and says "price has changed due to the settings you have made", even though you have not changed anything!

Absolute broken app and website after takeover. Needed to change my credit card, could update it on the booking. Then went into the profile and deleted the outdated and put in the new. Still the deleted credit card showing on check out. No way updating it. Still asking for a cvc. Entered the old cvc. The suddenly after entering the cvc the credit card charged to the new one. But no chance to change the cvc to the right. Only solution was to book it. Then now the booking got declined. Amazing

Still needs a lot of improvements. Can't select language and forces the app to use system language. Bookings are not shown in the app, even though I booked a car via the app, the only confirmations I have are in email. Have to "print out" a voucher to bring to car rental, welcome to 1985! Should I also fax you a copy of my driving license?

Thank you Billiger Mietwagen! Amazing service, after my flight had a +3 hour delay due to a technical and therefore couldn't pick up my rental car because I missed my connecting flight. After a quick call they rebooked the booking to one day later without any extra costs and informed me by mail and telephone. I'm very happy! One more good experience with Billiger Mietwagen.

I've made a car reservation for the airport in Düsseldorf. When I've arrived the guy on the desk couldn't find my reservation in the system. At the end he found it but he was supposed to type all my data again. Then he was unable to process my Visa, which was used to make the reservation, thus no car could be given to me, but the money for the one day reservation were charged and no refund was possible- pathetic....

I used Billiger-Mietwagen for renting a car from Firefly in Alicante airport. I prepaid around 70 euro for rental and insurance via Billiger-Mietwagen. When I went to pick up the car Firefly did not accept the insurance and they charged an additional 200 euro for full coverage. So be careful. I will never use it again. Not transparent enough and you cannot trust if there is an agreement regarding the insurance between Billiger- Mietwagen and the actual rental company.
