App is fun, but not reliable. Often crashes and shows a blank screen on every page. Force stopping and restarting never resolves the issue, you just have to wait a while and hope it will work or restart your entire phone. Hopefully, now that all my plants are finally in, I won't need to worry about it and can just use the app for the reminders.

Plant ID isn't accurate most of the time. I needed an app to help me grow my plants, mostly the watering reminders. Well, that soon quit working, either behind another tier of subscription or its bugged. Though that wasn't super accurate to begin with. A lot of info for individual plants wasn't helpful either, even after setting each plant up on the app. For $30, this wasn't worth it.

The app has potential and can definitely be helpful for the houseplant community, but there are many issues. The identification system is weak and will do wrong even in genus identification, also many plant types are missing. There are many bugs when filling in the info of a new plant. Often, the pic u used to id your plant is replaced by a random pic ur phone takes at the moment (that's creepy) and after changing it, it goes back to the random pic. And when setting a date, it goes a day back.

Paid for the subscription, and then suddenly the notifications stopped working. Worked with tech support to resolve the issue, its an issue with how the app asks for permissions and asking for proper permissions. Still weeks with no resolution. Now the app won't accept my login, keeps saying there's no internet. By far the worst money spent.

Excellent. Always have an issue with over or under watering and this app has cleared that up. My plants are healthy and growing like crazy! Thank you!! EDIT: dropping my rating from 5 to 2 stars because the app no longer provides notifications, or even a notification dot to let me know its time to water. Greg no longer even shows in my list of apps that are capable of providing notifications. Really sad, as this was one of thekey features for me.

Soooo hard to use, buttons not working, too much information needed just to add a plant and set up a watering schedule. Horrible plant identification, every time got it wrong, had to manually search the right one. Even the right one doesn't have plant description/introduction at all. I had no idea what I added other than the plant name, and had to turn to other apps for more plant info. Only good thing I can think of is UI is cute, no more.

Tried isn't identification on the free plan and in the free trial - wrong every time, except for getting lavender correct. Adding plants to the app through a photo in my gallery is bugged; the app instead takes a photo through my camera. Cute app design and illustrations but the functionality isn't there to get started.

I actually really like this app. It's cute and provides helpful reminders to take care of my plants. I ultimately cancelled my subscription though because I found another app that costs a little more, but is more detailed and offers help when my plants are sick. That's probably the only thing I would change about this one.
