Almost perfect. The desktop version is great. However, the mobile version (at least on Android) is super slow to sync and to load recently imported notes in HTML. Even after several minutes, if I want to make any modifications to the recent imported note (now converted to Markdown), it takes ages to modify anything and the cursor in the editor mode jumps from one place to the middle or the end of note. This is quite annoying. Also, the imported HTML notes don't keep several elements.

The experience is sufficient and functional, but it does need some more polish. I can't seem to put away my keyboard while viewing a note as the app will just request it to pop up again. For some nice and quick improvements, I think including an option for a black splash screen would be nice and it would be great to have the option to open specific notes or notebooks in view mode first. It would be very helpful for grocery or shopping lists, chores and recipes.

The best markdown editor for note taking and ideation. I have yet to find a better more elegant solution. Helped me keep track of ephemeral thoughts throughout my engineering career. Helps me stay in the flow without losing track of that sudden tangential epiphany. It seamlessly works across platforms with aesthetic and functional consistency. I flip between backend and client-side on Mac OS, Linux while using mobile when travelling. Less context switching & vim keybindings = happy nvim user.

My trial just ended and I just purchased the monthly plan. I like that I can work on markdown on my phone while on the go and resume work on PC at home. I couldn't figure out to use plugins for mobile which is a shame as alot of my notes use the math plugin. Hopefully someday there will be an update to make plugins more seamless on mobile.

Wonderful app for what it does, some people complain about syncing but when you use the app on multiple devices thats exactly what you need. It also allows you the option to host your own data if thats something you want to do.

This is a great app. Yes, it has some bugs (text input icons look too dark on my phone and notebook "add" icon looks wrong on my Samsung tablet). But I believe it will be improved.

This is a very polished app with the right amount of features. It's not bloated with gimmicky features that weigh down the experience. If you want a simple markdown note taking app, this is for you. Other reviews, quite frankly, are showing their utter ignorance about how this app works. 1. This requires an account because it is a paid service and you need to authenticate yourself against the servers (have you paid for online services before? This is nothing new). 2. Your notes are end-to-end encrypted. Meaning no one can view your notes. The reviews stating that unencrypted notes touch US servers or that the developer can view the information, what evidence do you have besides having a foggy notion of how encryption works or a random conspiracy-theory? 3. The price is worth it. The developer interacts with the community and listens to input. By you paying the monthly fee of $5 (or $50/year) you are getting in on this process and have a say in the direction the app takes. All in all you can tell this is a labor of love for the developer. It is an utterly pleasant experience. Just don't expect it to be what it's not and don't expect your perfect experience for free.

Definitely the best app available. Reliable, simplistic and contains a lot of useful features while keeping a calm and clean interface. My new favorite app.
