Good useful app perfectly works. There is one little thing which need to be corrected which is the polarity it shows, is confusing. When it shows North Pole then the North Pole of being tested Magnet should be facing the phone screen.

If it displays "N" when holding a magnet above the screen, then the magnets' North Pole is facing up. This can be verified using a Compass App.

I'm confused how to read this, when it says n or s is that referring to the top or bottom of the magnet?

just to be sure...if it says "south pole" then that means the pole of the magnet is north?
