Genie is a dating app which allows users to search for other users in immediate vicinity. It uses bluetooth to show users to other prospective matches. Users can filter for users that they want to see on the basis of gender and various other privacy settings.

Rubbish, you have to pay for additional swipes or wait until a certain time to be able to swipe again, also took option away before I had chance to read the profile 😕 Actually there are other apps you don't have to pay for to swipe. Other features aren't free but the basic swiping profiles are. Would be nice for the basic feature to be included in this case.

I think the concept is really good! However, the user interface isn't very friendly and is really confusing. Also, I can't read any of the bio information - it's literally just a pic to swipe left/right on. The dual screen makes it harder to concentrate, and the dynamics are really poor. I just think it needs a design overhaul.

Awful, tried to set up my account, each time I go to upload a pic, the entire app shuts down and logs off. I can't do anything on it without completeing my profile, which I've just spent 20 minuets trying to upload Only 2 pics of myself! I now can't get on there and delete my information from this app, and all its done is waste my time 💀

It's okay the app self closes alot that's a problem, I don't know if it's shown in the youtube video but instructions don't tell you how to adjust the search parameters (easy enough to find I guess but would be nice to have known from start) and the app ignores your preferences if nun are near by which is kind of pointless, more indepth preferences are restricted to paying users by the looks of it which is really bad considering other apps it's free.

User friendly app and I’m glad they give off free credits, I’ve tried them out and decided to buy more, I tried Tinder and it would always ask me to sign for a membership, which is not ideal as I might find a potential date in a day or two and no longer would need a membership...genie at least gives an option of getting 1, 5, 10 credit... not a membership

Given you can only choose to show men or women or both, I am constantly being shown straight men when I am gay. Pretty dumb that a dating app doesn't have a setting for gays. App interface is quite glitchy and looks cheap. Maybe spend more time developing a good interface and settings to search for compatible partners than ads on the tube? 😄

"connection issue" and "date and time" error every.single.time. ... I have the latest update of the app, my WiFi and mobile network is working fine and everything is up to date.

Got me Going

I love swiping feature as it’s just different, something new I haven’t tried. Other dating apps just seems too repetitive with their swiping, this seems more fun
