This app is great for when you lose the TV remote and to track energy and water consumption for the washer/dryer. Unfortunately I haven't been able to use it for months because it only supports 2.4Ghz wifi and when we replaced the old one, I don't have that option anymore. It would get 5 stars from me if I could actually use it again! Any plans to make this adjustment?

This RE makes me angry. I'm a software tester by trade. I know how to troubleshoot a connection issue. My Roku connects every time. Since the update the app turns the TV on then shows as offline. There's something new wrong since the update PLEASE FIX!!!! I have 3 of the same LG TVs in my house. I'd love to be able to use my phone as a controller again.

Well haven't used the app for a while seeing the update always gets in the way. Today woke to find my stove non responsive. Turn the knob and the on indicator lights up but nothing happens. Burner doesn't heat up, display shows the time...sorta. the numbers been messed up for a while (example setting 400 will read 488). Oven doesn't work either, even the light that came on when you open the door...ya it doesn't work either. My stove became an oversized paperweight overnight. No clue wrong.

The app is kind of useless since you can't do much in the way of customizing the machine settings. I thought an app would let me do things like set the default wash temperature to cold or set the dryer to actually dry my clothes without fiddling with the on-machine controls. None of those are options. I can't even save my usual settings to the "Downloaded" cycle. What's the point?

This has got to be one of the worst apps I've ever used. It's like LG is trolling people with this app, how does a top level company make an app that's this bad? I constantly have issues with my tv disconnecting and spend 3-4 hours trying to get it to reconnect every time. The app hardly ever recognizes that my tv is on but instead gets itself stuck in this loop that ultimately crashes the app. I don't think I'll be buying another LG, very annoying and frustrating.

I had to come here to give this app two stars due to its invasive approach to privacy. It requests numerous permissions and openly states that it will share location data with third parties. I wish they would disable all permissions by default and let me choose what data to share as needed. You don’t need my location just to connect to my TV. They force Amazon Alexa on you now. You have to accept all the super evasive privacy policy just to use the voice feature on the remote or the app.

App closes itself and refuses to let me control my air conditioner because there are 'problems with the security certificate for this server'. Sounds like some copout DRM garbage excuse to not let me run the app at all or for its intended purpose. No where to report bugs since the app just closes itself before I can get past the first two pages of local setup.

Dear devs. So close, but so far, and then it ends up in the garbage. Please copy the Roku app. Especially all the features with private listening. It doesn't work reliably on the TV from one pair of headphones to the next. It will randomly decide to switch away from phone audio leaving you with no sound. Also sometimes there is a delay depending on the headset. Lazy dev might say oh well, cheap headset. Fire those lazy ones. The Roku app has a simple solution for you. Worse part of LG TV=App
